Leela, the Doctor’s assistant – a fearless warrior who would face the most formidable danger without a moment’s hesitation. The Tardis, the famous police call box used by the Doctor as his time machine.

Does anyone know who designed the pieces? I recently bought a box of maquettes and included in it was a pewter model of Delgado as the Master but he is standing with arms crossed rather than as was issued in the set. I am trying to work out if the company that made the clay figures also designed the chess pieces for Danbury Mint.

    Thanks

Unless I have missed it in the thread above there is no definitive statement of which figures costitute the full set. It would be very helpful if anyone can furnish this information, and the total number of pieces.
    Thanks

Sorry, but full sets go on ebay for about £330. It is the expansion pieces that fetch the best prices – and especially the “expansion set of the expansion set” which comprised four pieces:
*Red King – Paul McGann as The Doctor
*Red Queen – Daphne Ashbrook as Grace (Dr Grace Holloway)
*Red Knight – Yee Jee as Chang Lee
*Black King – Eric Roberts as The Master

Marcus I think I have the full expansion but not having a place for it it is in loft storage. unfortunatly a fire has now destroyed the board and most of the key pieces.
