Just the one with the black helmet or the one with black helmet and sensor

    • Posted by: Doctor Stu

      July 24th, 2014 - 12:02pm

If it’s the sensor imperial guard Dalek there’s one for $14.49 on amazon with $4.49 posting so its about £12 with P&P

Of you applied for tickets for the London part of the world tour, can you reply to this.
Has anyone been emailed about whether that have the tickets or not?
    Many thanks.

I received an email about an hour ago saying

Thank you for your interest in this popular event.

The ballot has now been completed and all successful applicants have been notified by a separate email yesterday. If you’ve not received this email notification then please assume that you’re application was unsuccessful. Sorry for your disappointment if you didn’t get tickets this time.

      July 24th, 2014 - 12:34pm

      (Continued)

Given the high number of ballot entries we will not be releasing any tickets on Monday 28th. However, any return tickets will be available on the day of the screening from the box office counter. Any tickets available will be sold on a first come first served basis and limited to 1 per person.

      So unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to get a ticket :(

      it might

      Yes

    • Posted by: Trenzalore

      July 23rd, 2014 - 10:35pm

Since The End of Time wasn’t on the complete series 5 boxset, I wouldn’t think so. Plus there’d be no point as a lot of loose ends from Smith’s era were explained (rather confusingly) in The Time of the Doctor therefore it will confuse some people who haven’t seen pre-Capaldi or get confused with possible arcs within series 8. And I’d rather it exclusively Capaldi’s Doctor if I’m honest and The Time of the Doctor is also being released in this new 50th boxset so another reason not to include it.

    • Posted by: Radburn

      July 23rd, 2014 - 11:08pm

It will be a short Boxset with only 12 episodes…

    • Posted by: Anonymous

      July 23rd, 2014 - 11:38pm

But one episode is double length so it is hardly “short”.

    • Posted by: Trenzalore

      July 23rd, 2014 - 11:40pm

12 isn’t too bad, especially with Deep Breath being a feature length. Plus they released a boxset for series 7 part 1 with only 5 episodes. But I suppose only time will tell, I would find it odd if Time was included but you may be right…

    • Posted by: RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND

      July 24th, 2014 - 11:44am

i don’t see why it shouldn’t really, as six and seven had previous specials, but i see what you mean in terms of different eras. But in terms of the end of time, the specials were released before that so that might be why

      July 24th, 2014 - 12:36pm

With the 2011 series A Christmas Carol was part of the series so was included. The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe was added because fans kicked up a stink saying that “It should be included because everything else has” even though it doesn’t belong to any series at all.

Would ordering the Time of the Doctor 5″ Set from Popcultcha to the USA be a good idea? The current listed price is $28.20 USD.

as long as it goes in your basket for below £15 then yes, if £15 or above dont risk it

    • Posted by: Thatchos

      July 23rd, 2014 - 7:05pm

I just checked: the listed price of $28.20 is about £16.55.
Thanks for the input! I guess I’ll wait for Whona. The War Doctor cost about $28-30 plus shipping. Not only that, but it was shipped within 3 days!
But, I guess I’ll wait until it’s in stock. I don’t know how long that’ll be, but I’ll try my best.
