Harrop Buckley Designs have been creating collectable hand painted figurines for over 30 years and have gained a well earned reputation of high quality and accuracy of detail. Their extensive portfolio includes Thunderbirds, Camberwick Green, Beano Dandy and 2000AD to name but a few. A portfolio that is extremely nostalgic and very British, so it was no surprise that Doctor Who would be the next project that we wanted to embrace into our studios!

In partnership with the BBC, we have meticulously hand sculpted a range of 1:12 scale, hand cast and hand painted Doctor Who figurines, each made to strict Worldwide Limited Editions.

As a mark of provenance, each Limited Edition figurine will be numbered with a unique Edition Number and will come packaged in a presentation box with an Information Card and Certificate of Authenticity!

DATA…

Ogron

From ‘Day of the Daleks’ 1972

“Ogrons. They’re a form of higher anthropoid. They used to live in scattered communities on one of the outer planets. They make very useful servants.”

In an effort to avert World War III, a World Peace Conference has been arranged by British Diplomat Sir Reginald Styles. Whilst working late one night, Sir Reginald is attacked by a man carrying a futuristic-looking weapon, who then suddenly disappears into thin air. The incident is reported to UNIT H.Q., prompting Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, the Doctor and his companion Jo to investigate.

A man dressed similarly to Sir Reginald’s attacker is found unconscious and the Doctor deduces that a device found with him is a crude time machine and that he has come from the future. Later, the Doctor learns that the attackers are in fact freedom fighters from Earth in the 22nd Century. Daleks have invaded and enslaved the planet using Ogrons, an aggressive race of ape-like humanoids, as mercenaries to control the human population.

The freedom fighters have travelled back in time to alter Earth’s history. They believe that Sir Reginald is responsible for an explosion at the World Peace Conference, which instigated a series of wars that left Earth vulnerable to the Dalek invasion…
