The First Doctor had an unquenchable thirst to explore, and a knack of getting himself into trouble doing it. An exile from his homeworld, the Doctor wanders through space and time in his trusty TARDIS with his granddaughter Susan. Both a loving father-figure and a fierce opponent, he would often play deadly games with his foes. It was after preventing the Cybermen from absorbing the Earth’s energy, and with his body “wearing a bit thin”, that the First Doctor collapses to the TARDIS floor and begins his first regeneration.

Outfitted in flamboyant gentleman’s attire, including a cape and Astrakahn hat, the First Doctor comes with numerous accessories including his horn handle walking cane, monocle and pipe. With eight interchangeable hands, to enable numerous poses and a light-up display base with the Gallifreyan symbol for one, the First Doctor 1:6 Scale Limited Edition is the definitive collectable for fans of the Time Lord.

To develop the most accurately scaled collector’s figure, our artists studied countless reference photographs, to create a realistic and authentic character portrait of the First Doctor so memorably portrayed by actor William Hartnell. The Doctor’s trademark costume was hand-tailored in exacting detail, together with his accessories.

Once again titan should have focussed on the monsters …the cybermen from Davisons/colins era are superb. They should have completed a range of cybermen.

again as soon as they ventured into the classic Monsters / Doctors the line was cancelled because not enough retailers ordered them

If a company spreads itself thin it has to be big chief. Gerry Anderson announced June …no further news. Only two of 8 classic Doctors produced not a sign of Pat Troughton or Jon Pertwee…No classic monsters at all – and now James Bond as well. Too many eggs too many baskets.

The whole franchise is being spread to thinly, big chief seem to be struggling to sell what they have let alone anything new , even Harrops clearly aren’t selling any where near what they expected to, Funko wave 2 sank, The 5″ range clearly struggling and so on.

I think it will take big chief years to get round to some Doctors if they ever do, they could easily drop the licence (which only run for so many years) in favour of more lucrative franchises

Main problem is everything is highly priced and cost more than what people want to pay such as the big chiefs and Harrops as well as the 5″ range going up in price to £15-£20

the prices are in line with similar franchises, just not enough people are buying them which in turn leads to higher costs, its all about retailer profit as well, if they aren’t getting a good margin they wont bother with it at all.

Not enough focus at big chief ….or they dont know what to focus on……seems to me theyre just announcing new stuff left right and centre without properly following through on any of their ranges. Their Who output is okay if you like the new Doctors – tough bananas if youre waiting for Pat and Jon to complete a classics trio….

that’s because classics dont sell enough in the current market – every line that tried it has either failed, stalled or considerably cut back their output.

      I’ve watched it all happen

Wouldn’t surprise me if you never see those figures from big chief

A “new who” companion in this sort of range will still outsell a “classic Doctor”.

That’s why they are doing a 1000+ of them and only 500 of the 1st Doctor

as a business they will go where the money is to get value from their license

Thought that last time I spoke to them… they should have started with the Doctors instead of naff figures of companions….Fine art castings made exactly the same mistake years ago…great with the Doctors, great with the aliens introduce companions…range whent kersplat….

I dont know about that Anderson range though …. seems odd they made no further announcements. Maybe four or five months is nothing in the merchandise world or they were just to premature.

Im just glad I didnt like the titan busts…. I was miffed they never released some splendid original Trek onesincluding a particularly good one of Dr McCoy. Id have been really annoyed if Id started collecting those only for the collection to fold. Irony is their Colin Baker which never made it was superb the best one…Excellent likeness of the sixth Doctor.
