June 3rd, 2026 - 9:23amFor anyone waiting for their delivery from Zavvi, I think I’ve gotten to the bottom of the issue…
They’ve told me that they’re having issues getting the stock from the supplier (Master Replicas) so can’t ship it out to customers until they actually receive it.
So it’s clear that Master Replicas haven’t produced enough stock to fill the demand, they’re having to hold back all the stock so that they can fulfil their own orders so don’t have any to give to Zavvi to ship out to their paying customers.

June 1st, 2026 - 5:05pmThis release has quite literally been a disaster… They do a preorder system so that they can gauge interest so that they print enough copies, and then have had every supplier have to push back the release multiple times because there isn’t enough stock to supply the demand.
I don’t feel very hopeful for the obliterator set now tbh, the fact that the binder is very limited edition is going to be really messy when they can’t seem to supply everyone now.

They do not respond to emails, there’s no other way to contact them, and I’m still awaiting for my Retroduction set despite ordering it when it was announced and recently paying an extra shipping fee to have it delivered (as it was part of a multiple item order). And I’m certainly not giving them over £100 of my money for the Obliterator set, despite how much I would like it. There’s no way that’s going to ship in July! Absolute shambles of a company in my opinion.

June 2nd, 2026 - 12:27amI myself was in two minds about this: Firstly I wasn’t interested, then seeing all the images & stuff; I thought I would go for it. Then the Obliterator set came up & I was even more impressed, then secondly I thought Master Replicas & their track record. Was I going to fork out on a Retroduction Set with everchanging dates or the possibility of getting 1 of only 1,000 Binders or the Exclusive Obliterator Gold Version Boxset only available from them (Again Shipping In July) So I thought NO – I’m not dealing with all the frustration that will go with this & won’t bother. Although the Product look’s great both Retroduction & Obliterator, I can’t justify the headaches I’d get from dealing with Master Replicas over this.

It seems to be that every release date their page changes to sold out and then my order doesn’t get processed and all they say to me is that I’ll know when it’s processed when they take the funds, then there’s another release date put on the site with no explanation.

May 5th, 2026 - 10:38amMR are a shambles, Nath (and that’s putting it mildly). I ordered the Battles Retroduction set plus 14th and 15th Doctor figurines in one order back in December. After recent communication with MR – which you can only do by email – I paid extra shipping to have my Retroduction set sent now, as I was told it was available but the figurines weren’t. They’ve now sent me the 14th Doctor figurine on its own – which wasn’t what I paid the extra shipping for. I now suspect there are no Retroduction sets left in stock – I’m awaiting a further response from MR. And now I’m reading on here about missing card packs and varying quality printing. Not good.

April 30th, 2026 - 8:29amIf that’s so, and they’re both scheduled to release at the end of May, it’ll kinda be a disservice to the people who preordered from Zavvi… that we’ve had to preorder and wait months and months of delays just to get them at the same time they get released in the shops.

The cards are solid and thick but the foil effect is poor quality and makes the images very dark compared to their original versions, davros and sarah janes face for example are barely visible, any image with a prominent face is washed in darkness
The choice of cards is also bizarre, the usual expectations in there but some you just think “out of 1000 cards, they chose these?!”
Overall somewhat disappointed, the original sets were better quality, bright and colourful.
These are a cash grab and if the reboot of BIT is based on this……Will be a pass
TCGs are premium and proced accordingly, these were not that

April 26th, 2026 - 2:52pmI too had a message saying to expect the set on, firstly, Thursday, then Friday. In fact, mine too hasn’t even been received by Royal Mail according to the tracking. I have sent MR yet another email trying to find out what is going on.
The company is an absolute shambles. They tried to say they were going to improve their contact/updates but have absolutely failed to do so.
They are unable to give a release date for their Troughton figure – despite what others have said on here. The latest they told me (last week) was that their “management team was seeking to resolve the matter as a matter of urgency”. I think they have a different understanding of the work urgency to me.

“ Hello, We hope you’re doing well. We wanted to provide you with the latest update regarding your order tor Doctor Who Trading Card Game Battles in time retroduction Pack.
Our supplier has informed us of a new release date. The new estimated release date is 31st May 2026. As soon as we receive the stock, we’ll process and dispatch your order without delay.”
So it’s been delayed by another month again
