Well apparently it’s already out in autralia and/or the U.S before we even knew about it ! :/
So that’s how.
I just hope the Doctor in htis set has a diferent paint-job on his jacket, because the one in the Eleven Doctor’s set was too light a shade, but otherwise a great figure.

I would buy everything but we have already had a few super rares making it near impossible to get them all. Hopefully those ones can be re-released at some point in the future though.

Victory of the Daleks one of the highest ranking stories for Series 5 ?
Frontios, Caves of Adrozahni or Planet of Fire should have been the top ones damn it ! I voted for Amy’s choice, the Time of Angels, Vincent and the Doctor and i nthe 11 Doctors set the Sixth Doctor, which although slightly inaccurate and having no accessories, is a LOVELY figure.
The exact same reason that aweful story Resurrection of the Daleks was top of the season poll in 1984:

i found a cb river song yesterday my dads ut it on ebay buy it now 135 or make an offer i found it very easy to find as i felt for rivers hair then when i felt the rest of the packaging i could feel a gun at the bottom s now im going to sell it to buy either classic figures wave 1 off ebay or dr with sea devil and 5th dr with master and probably enemies of the 3 rd dr set

Very unlikely, the figure will likely still be being produced so only prototypes will exist at the moment so only certain groups will see it.

They should have the new CB items from all the franchises (deadly 60, Doctor who, armed forces etc) they havnet gone to all the rouble of building that Dalek for nothing !

Just 3 things I want to announce here:
1. Rory and Amy WILL BE in Series 7, which will air in Autumn time this year. They didn’t show a trailer so early, and so soon after Series 6 I think it’s jsut as well they didn’t !

But are you comparing it to the overnight figures or the final figures? Many people seem to like comparing the lower overnight figures to the higher final figures of other stories to make it look bad.

You won’t have any luck, you’ll probablly be better talking to a brick wall, the customer services department know nothing about future releases and on many occassions are not even aware of the things that have come out.
The only way to find out anythign is to wait and hope, and the only people willing to confirm anything new is UT.

Silent with Closed Mouth and Lightning is a Wedding of River Song figure (in The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon they all have their mouths open when attacking) although that is the only one.

No, think if they make any figures for that special we should not have a set, jsut a figure of the Wooden King the Doctor in spacesuit maybe a new figure of the Doctor with patterned Jacket release
But really, what we need is Series 6 figures, it’s almost a whole year until Series 7, that’s plenty of time for Rory and a new Doctor Longcoat figure, and a new Amy figure, and Dorium Maldover, and the Minotaur and some Handbots !

I think it was the best special yet! I loved the story, it was inventive and ATLAST we have an enemy made out of wood. I love how christmassy it was, i always think programmes from the ww2 era are christmasy. The acting was superb, even the children (i never really feel convinced when children act) and what a wonderful ending. And to all of you saying its the worst, its funny because i bet that you will still get the dvd/bluray anyway.

I love all the Dr Who episodes including the xmas special…But even if Moff suddenly really wanted to hand it back to Mr t davies he couldn’t. Moffat didn’t sieze control, Russel left having done a fantastic job as head writer and handed the job onto the hugely talented Steven Moffat. Russel wouldn’t take it back even if you freely handed it to him…he’s done his version and a good version too.

It was a good christmas episode, and VERY well written.
It wasn’t ENTIRELY well made though, some of it looked bad (the escape-globe spaceship wirling about in a cheap CGI shot, anyone ? Looked very poor, but alot of it, the sets, the monsters, the design, was vastly better .)

For Classic Doctor Who, I think this is a positive two years with the new packaging design, which despite being more dull (dull ? Yeah, right, SHUTUP.) is very representative for classic-Who.
There are more 80s-era sets being released. Which, I must admit, bodes well for me because I have a section on my display shelf for 80s Who which is seperate and awesome.

Idris with Phsycic Cubes and 11th Doctor from The Almost People are my msot wanted figures, but first I’m getting the Silence.
BTW there was some aweful thigns too, Uncle and Nephew, the Astronaught are my least favourite.

well its difficult as everyone tastes are different but if it were me
Genesis of the Daleks – because the story is brilliant, Tom baker at his best, introduces Davros and has one of the best scenes in Who ever “have i the right”
Talons of weng chiang – Because the atmosphere and acting by the entire cast are unsurpassed to this day
Manikin mania – Both excellent stories, The Brig, Sgt Benton, Roger Delgado, Katy Manning what more could you want!
The Ark – an old b/w story that actually tackles the issue of when things go wrong, many would find this story hard going but its one of my favourites

Loved both episodes – take them as a package deal, and the story was a refreshing take on the morality tale behind what makes us human; when do we lose sight of our humanity and become ourselves the monster – I like that Doctor Who is now making it’s audience think; it’s a Frankenstein thing, we can create this living humanoid, but do we have the right to destroy it when it becomes sentient? At last we have Doctor Who from behind the sofa, and I cried when Jimmy died

HAVE TO close down now, so not much time to say anything much. A strong piece of television that manages to be very Doctor Who and very fine Television viewing, it really feels so Dr Who, so meaningful, more so than ANY story of steven moffat’s series’ as head-producer so far.
Which made these two episodes totally amazing for me.

I understood the rebel flesh and the almost people up until the end when the doctor melted amy and she was about to give birth in that room but when it showed were amy was i thought she was in the siren ship but then i saw the women in the window so who is she and why is amy there and not in a normal hospital and how long had amy been the flesh and did the doctor say he wanted to go to the factory why? But i’m asuming that women in the hatch is the mid wife or something am i right can someone help me understand.

Moffat is putting the scary back into Doctor Who, I think he’s a fantastic writer and is doing a brilliant job; without Moffat there would be no Empty Child, no Clockwork Men, no Weeping Angels and the Vashta Nerada – the only reason RTD and DT were such a good combination was because of their working relationship on Cassanova, RTD needed someone to replace CE to keep his Doctor Who revival alive…

episode 4 was not very good at all, last weeks ep was much better. the way they had rorys rotting corpse was a bit too scary for younger kids, i found it really creepy!!! next episode looks really scary, and what did ep 4 have to do with the doctors wife? unless they ment the TARDIS. it just wasn’t GOOOOOODD!!!!

This was a very emotional episode, very well written and very moving – it focused on the relationship between Amy and Rory, and The Doctor and The Tardis – it gave The Tardis a voice. The Doctor and The Tardis are in many ways like a married couple, companions come and go, but The Tardis has always been there…

river means because the doctor hadnt kissed her before he really doesnt know her much so she knows she doesnt have many more meetings with him left. And in episode one she said the time she meets the doctor and he doesnt know her at all she said she thinks it will kill her which it sort of does (the library series 4). So thats one question answered atleast i think!

All of those questions will be answered in this series. The Doctor will still be killed by the astronaut, as they haven’t stopped it happening. The Doctor doesn’t know it will happen, and so hasn’t done anything about it.
River’s going to die, as she thinks she’ll soon meet a Doctor that doesn’t know her at all. She feels it will be the death of her, which it is; “Forest of the Dead”.

I think the little girl is the doctor, because river said there does’nt have to be a body in the spaceman to make it walk. So I think the astronaut that walked out of the water did’nt have anyone in it and then when the doctor got shot in the middle of his regeneration cycle he must have some how zapped himself in the little girl and when the girl regenerated, she goes back to the doctors form!

The innuendo is meant to bring some humour into the show which in my opinion the classic series lacked, everyone gets sentimental and it gives an extra bit of warmth to the show, and finally a word commonly used to describe the Seventh Doctor is buffoon, The new series is brilliant and in my opinion has much more depth to it than the classic series.

If there is to be a Tardis console room (which believe me, there must be) I would want the one from the Pertwee era, with the emerald/green time rotor, and maybe the funky suction-cup decore on the walls (from the episode the TimeMonster).
And regardless (absolutely regardless) of how much it would cost to make, we need a moving time-rotor, one that glows, and the hat-stand aswell as the fold-out computer pad seen in Logopolis. The yshould make a Tardis console room from Logopolis first, because the Time-rotor later on is the best one ever.

Its is not Lego simply because they can’t call it that, It is characters version of Lego. It is compatible with Lego and is very similar in appearance except the figures which are more “rounded”. The vast majority of people really like the look of it. I saw it all myself on display at the toy fair and i was really taken a back as to the quantity and variety of sets and figures on offer. We will be buying all the sets and doing our usual images when its available for sale. Hopefully (fingers crossed) i might be able to tell you much more in a couple of weeks.

There will probably only be sets from the Eleventh Doctor Era. Since it is aimed at younger children there isn’t really a market for classic sets. and character options don’t seem to be making anymore merchandise for the Ninth Doctor or Tenth Doctor eras

Episode Four-What Are Little Boys Made For?
This episode shows the doctor and amy and rory being shrunk into a dolls house they need to find a way out but also they need to keep out of the dolls way , the longer they stay in the house they become dolls i think reason with the tallies i persume, this episode is Rory’s last one aswell i think as he wasn’t in the trailer that much. That’s my guesses for this episode it looks the most exciting one.

Series 6 defo looks awesome! That astronaught looks creepy, red eye ood are angry, so what does green mean cos they still looked pretty angry! River Song! The Xmas special was great but it felt a bit strange cos there wasn`t really a “proper” monster, just a shark. All the same, brilliant story!

I got the Silurian Alaya for Xmas and I was really impressed! Removable mask, great figure, gun AND chains! It wa sgreat, and I loved the removable mask an dfurther figures need it! I would be very dissapointed if it was a swappable head.

Very dissapointing too much underrated dialogue, too many twists plots and sub plots, not enough action. Matt comes over as slightly manic, DEF no sense of humour, Dr who used to be a fun light hearted SciFi romp, good entertainment for Christmas evening, where did it all go wrong

The chrismas special of this year was by far, the least actiony or even the most thrilling when compared with the more action-y more family-oriented Russel T Davies specials like Voyage of teh Dammed the End of Time and so on, so the Christmas Charol was not what EVERYONE was expecting . They were like
with previous specials, but for this one it was more like

But it WASNT bad, nor was it unsuccessful in what it as trying to do. It had an appealing sense of drama and how engaging it was for viewers, I enjoyed it as a viewer.

Finally watched the new episode of doctor who and was very excited about it but in the end was very disappointed. The idea of using the chirstmas carol concept was good but the plot line was executed badly. The fault isnt with the actors and cast but the screen writters and director. I was disappointed with the whole fish idea and the idea that a woman’s singing would help calm things down. I just hope that furture episodes would be better put together with better story lines for the cast to show there true acting abilities.

I almost fell asleep in the christmas carol it was so boring ,it wasent even an adventure,Rory and amy were hardly in it and there were no monsters whatsoever. It was also too dark and not happy to watch- unlike the next doctor,a bit like end of time,(bad Choice for Christmas day)The only good part was the trailer at the end,I just hope season 6 will be as good as season 5

apparently the daleks are not in series 6, although this might not be true. i loved a christmas carol but voyage of the damned was the best christmas special and tennant’s best episode. i think that as authur darvill is on the opening title sequence, there will be a figure of him in 2011 because he is now a regular companion.

You do realise something? A Tardis interior set would need high-investment to be excellent, £50 and there could be a moving time-rotor, some lights, and some features like the foldout computer scanner seen in Logopolis. This is SERIOUSLY IMPORTANT!
But if youre not going to accept a bigger price, you arent going to get MORE, it will be practicly just a plastic rendering, no Electronics no accesories NOTHING. I just hope that if Character Options does make one, they will consider whats better; to haev a working Tardis set, for £50.

I wouldn’t mind examples of the classic pre-Five Doctors console, the alternate console introduced during the 4th Doctor’s time, as well as the Five-Doctors console. For that matter, I’d be interested in an 8th Doctor’s console as well as a stand alone console from the Eccleston/Tennant era. We didn’t have the full playset over here in the US as far as I can tell (and I looked).

New silurians; had hopes for them but no, ther truly aweful, and not (ENUF) reptilian, human eyeballs, ugly metal hoops for armour. Shame. I just dont believe inn the design any more, the idea for human-Lizards was overflawed by the rubeshness of what has now been the design. But the mask looks very reptile-creepy, and the weapons were done well.
Liz 10 and a collect and build Fish Vampire should, would have been perfect, and really should have been stacking our shelves instead of the Demon Headmaster perhaps, just a repaint WithaNewHed.

I’ve made my own tardis classic console with no sound (yet) but I’m working on the lights and the central rotor. It is in scale with 5inch figures and therefore I would think twice about a knew classic console room.

i voted for the ice warriors, it would be brilliant to see another adventure with a couple of episodes reconstruced like the invasion.

its brilliant this guy called jon brunton, he is attempting to reconstruct the whole power of the daleks adventure (for those who dont know the power of the daleks is Patrick Troughtons very first episode) with cgi and action footage(you know real people) and i have to say what hes done so far is brilliant have a look!!

I think they should make a 11 doctors movie where five or six of the doctors are trapped in a massive prison full of enemies and they have to get out whilst the other doctors do loads of activities to save them meanwhile some companions are against the celestial toymaker and his games and if they loose they are trapped
