Step into the universe of Doctor Who with the brand-new Doctor Who Battles in Time: Obliterator trading card collection for 2026. Celebrating the rich legacy of the series, this exciting set showcases iconic moments, characters, and adventures from across Doctor Who history, right up to the era of the Fifteenth Doctor.
This exclusive Limited Edition release is available only through Master Replicas and comes in sealed boxes containing 36 packs. Every card in this edition features a distinctive gold-foil Obliterator emblem, while each box is secured with a tamper-evident authenticity seal confirming its status as part of the 2026 Limited Edition run. Inside every sealed box, collectors will also find one oversized Limited Edition card, with six different designs available to collect.
Each pack contains six cards and includes a variety of premium finishes, from UV-gloss base cards and eye-catching rainbow foil rares to high-quality holofoil super rares. The collection also introduces an innovative metallic finish on the highly sought-after Vortex Rare cards, creating some of the most striking chase cards ever produced for the series.
Launching alongside the BBC and The Whoniverse Show, this release marks a major event for Doctor Who collectors. Collector Club members should note that their orders will receive priority processing and dispatch.
A separate Unlimited Retail Edition will arrive later in 2026. This version will feature a silver-foil Obliterator logo on every card and will be distributed through retail channels.

June 27th, 2026 - 9:53pmStill got the complete original set along with the test set and whilst I did pre order the Retroduction Set for nostalgia, I won’t be going all out and getting this wave. Seems this will be very expensive to complete.

June 16th, 2026 - 9:53pmFirst doctor set has now been shown, guess these will at least be going forward, just curious as to how we will see them all in shops- wonder if there will be a battle in time tab on here for future and past tabs

June 13th, 2026 - 8:14pmHow much!!! There goes my plan to get each new set of these they do. Really liked the first one they did, but not in a million years are they worth that much.

June 9th, 2026 - 4:22pmIt depends how you define worth really. If you mean monetary gain i.e. an investment then yes maybe they won’t appreciate much over the years. However if you define worth by a more personal criteria then if you enjoy owning this kind of thing they definitely aren’t worthless. People should view this sort of thing with more than one point of view.

June 8th, 2026 - 7:00pmnot very keen on the idea of collecting these. as i collected a lot from the last sets-only to find that i could never find the 2 infinite cards. only because they made it to hard. like 1 infinite card in every thousand boxs!!! they made the rare and super rare cards harder to get – it was something like 1 rare card in every 10 boxs and 1 super rare card in every 100 boxs. then turn round and say the sales were down – only because people like myself stopped, simply because they became to hard to find!

June 8th, 2026 - 2:35pmHow rare will the Vortex Rare cards be? Think this will decide whether I will collect the limited set or wait for the unlimited release.
Did order the binder though as that is surprisingly limited too!

June 8th, 2026 - 2:39pmLike the original cards, they will be absolutely worthless.

June 8th, 2026 - 4:40pmReally depends on the following this new line gets, if these sell out and it takes off who knows they may be worth more on the short term for completest who didn’t pick these up. Just a gamble really.

June 8th, 2026 - 7:37pmWell I wasn’t looking to invest, just understand if collecting a full limited set is achievable without breaking the bank!
I am excited to collect these, brings back good memories 🙂

June 9th, 2026 - 11:10pmI hope not too rare/expensive because I assume the vortex cards will be lenticular rares and it’s a shame the rarity below vortex isn’t lenticulars like the original sets and is just some foil texture, then the vortex cards could be something really special/unique.
If there are no lenticular cards at all then my interest is mostly gone though sadly, they were a huge part of my enjoyment from the card game. The masters regeneration probably being my #1 favourite card ever.
I’ve just seen the zavvi page says “The collection also introduces an innovative metallic finish on the highly sought-after Vortex Rare cards, creating some of the most striking chase cards ever produced for the series.”
Surely there’s no way they would bring back battles in time and actually have 0 lenticular cards… right?

June 27th, 2026 - 9:52pmProbably best to judge it by the binder, only 1000 so if that sells out pretty quick, may have a good idea for line success.
