Just got Issue 88 (stickered) and it has the cover for 89 but the contents for 88. Ooops! Has this been reported anywhere?

Unresolved. I did contact their customer service back in the day and they acknowledged the issue, but no replacement ever arrived.

Why is the 3 part monks story being treated as 3 seperate stories?

Officially, they are-also, it might be to pad the volumes out, I could tell in the Series 9 books they were struggling for content with some episodes, probably just to finish the collection off on a nice even number. Of course, they could have wrapped Capaldi up early to have more bonus volumes covering the spin-offs, books, etc.

They’re being included as three separate stories because they were separate productions, with different writers, different directors and different filming blocks. Just because there was a narrative that ran through them, doesn’t mean their production history was all in one mass.
