    @doctorwhovian2018 – see http://thedoctorwhocompanion.com/2018/01/24/doctor-who-the-complete-history-to-be-extended-to-include-all-peter-capaldis-episodes/

    Co-editor of the Hatchette Partwork collection Mark Wright let slip the news on Twitter that the collection will now run up to 2017’s Christmas special, Twice Upon a Time, with the remaining issues spread out as much as possible to avoid a potential glut of Twelfth Doctor books.

    The series will now run to 90 issues rather than 80 (you can really hear those shelves groaning). Wright went on to confirm that there will be a final volume of all the miscellaneous spin-off series which he said will almost certainly include Shada.

    Images have shown that the extended spines will show the TARDIS…

    That means that for UK subscribers who started when it first came out, issue 90 will be out in April 2019…. possibly that means that they might be able to work on Jodie Whitaker’s first season as well, and so extend it again… time will tell!

      They have said they will be finished writing issue 90 before Jodie even fully debuts. Most likely they just restart it again with the new logo and slot in new books throughout the run. They did similar with the Marvel comics.

      I suppose they are a huge space taker! I can see why some people don’t collect these.

      James A, they have – officially extended to 90 issues now, will see out rest of Capaldi but exec editor Tom Spilsbury (ex-DWM ed) has said this week it won’t get into Jodie Whittaker’s episodes.
