The TARDIS is ensnared in a time corridor, catapulting it into derelict docklands on 20th century Earth. The Doctor and his companions, Tegan and Turlough, stumble on a warehouse harbouring fugitives from the future at the far end of the corridor – and are soon under attack from a Dalek assault force.

The Doctor’s oldest enemies have set in motion an intricate and sinister plot to resurrect their race from the ashes of an interstellar war. For the Daleks’ plans to succeed, they must set free their creator, Davros, from a galactic prison – and force the Doctor to help them achieve total control over time and space. But the embittered Davros has ideas of his own…

35 years after its first TV transmission, Doctor Who fan-favourite Resurrection of the Daleks is novelised at last, by the author of the original script, Eric Saward.

What a cool cover! Resurrection is one of my favourite fifth doctor stories.

Loving the Cover. the pink light glinting of the Daleks, being a lovely nod to the original Target book of THE DALEKS, with the great William Hartnell.

Its not a bad novel(the full version) just the expansions & side steps, , get in the way,of the Adventure aspect of the Serial. Hopefully with a few edits here and there, it speeds up the narrative.

I presume this will be a straight reprint as it wasn’t a big book anyway. I personally wasn’t keen on it and I agree some edits would be welcome

I’m looking forward to these books. 3 brand new. A cut down pirate planet (city worked well cutdown) I think resurrection and revelation will be straight reprints but I’m intrigued by the Paul mcgann as it’s a new version not a straight reprint. Love the three announced covers can’t wait to see the rest. These will lift my spirits up so much when I have them.

Love the cover, but it should be a photo of Peter Davison just for the hell of it. 🙂

What makes it dreadful? Is it not well written?
