This company have just sent me the last three issues or rather 88 and 90 with issue 89 missing. A phone call confirms me it is out of stock. WHAT? for a subscriber???? If the missing copy does not arrive ALL 89 issues will be going back for a refund. I feel a solicitors letter coming on.

And to make matters worse, just noticed issue 90 has many pages stuck together meaning another replacement.

Im still confused as I’m paying subscriber prices but there’s nothing extra for it? The last comic volume was ages ago.

My subscription copies are arriving later and later. Issues 80 and 81 came yesterday, just as issue 82 hits the shops. Shouldn’t subscribers get things earlier? Also is there any plans to extend the collection beyond Issue 90, even at an irregular basis each year? It would be a shame if the collection quickly grew out of date!

Same same, since Bissett dropped the ball, it has slowed to a dribble !!!

You could argue that the last book should have Jodie on the cover! After all she is in the closing moments of Twice Upon A Time, even if her new stories can’t be covered at the present time. That would be just as legitimate as the BBC’s own Five Faces of Dr Who season from 1981 when all that there was to include of Peter Davison was his fleeting appearance in the Logopolis regeneration! And not as if there won’t already be a photo of her in the story synopsis in book 89…

The ninetieth is an ‘appendix’ issue, covering all the odds and ends, like Shada and K9 and Company. It’s confirmed, but the cover image just hasn’t been released yet.

Instead of a Doctor as the main image on the cover, perhaps it should be the Tardis.

      Confirmed by Who?

Mark Wright, editor of The Complete History, according to this article: https://thedoctorwhocompanion.com/2018/01/24/doctor-who-the-complete-history-to-be-extended-to-include-all-peter-capaldis-episodes/

“Wright went on to confirm that there will be a final volume of all the miscellaneous spin-off series which he said will almost certainly include Shada.”

It was I who wrote the above comment as ‘Anonymous’ assuming K9 and Company would also be included, as I know there is already an Archive feature on it that can be repurposed.

For me, these last three episodes was the best farewell for a Doctor yet. A fitting end trilogy to a great Doctor.

Some would even say “a fitting end to Doctor Who…1963-2017”.

Nah; no, it’s like every movie trilogy
First is good, second is better, third is what just happened

So this should be the last of the books in chronological order of stories??

‘Twice Upon A Time’ is my favourite story in this book.

I loved ‘World Enough and Time’ but ‘The Doctor Falls’ was typical Moffat. Building a story up too high and then following with an unsatisfactory conclusion. The Two Master’s wasted, Bill survived (felt like a retread of ‘Hell Bent’ and Clara’), and story played out on an upper floor of the spaceship. When the lower floor was more interesting and dark. Which also meant the sinister Surgeon was wasted.

You could even say twice upon a time has the same problems, focusing on the most filler plot ever when there were so many loose ends you could have filled in that runtime and the two doctors was wasted
