Re-Release Doctor Who Classic Dalek Collectors set Two
B&M Re-Release Classic Dalek Collectors set 2
This item is currently available in some B&M stores priced at £12.99. They also have the much sought after Age of Steel Cybermen Set
Please check on availability before making a special journey as not all stores have them.
This great pack includes a Saucer Pilot Dalek from ‘Dalek Invasion of Earth’ (1964), an Emperor’s Guard Dalek from ‘Evil of the Daleks’ (1967) and Supreme Dalek from ‘Day of the Daleks’ (1972) all ready to bother Jon Pertwee.

October 25th, 2012 - 3:09pmHad a flying visit to Cardiff yesterday via the Eastern Park and Ride. On the way to the car park, the magic and ever-beckoning B&M Bargains sign was there. I was able to take the minor detour to the shop that had about 2-3 Dalek sets left. No sign of Cyberman set but as there appear to be no variations I am happy to miss it.
Four known variations on this set:-
1.Barcode and product date code
2.Gold Dalek’s dome lights
3.Emperor Dalek has concentric ring around sphere on right hand side (thanks David Edinburgh)
4.Paper packaging ties
Any more?

October 25th, 2012 - 9:05pm5. Back sheet(barcode and p/n set already set it as a different product) in addition there is different wording in the information text boxes and different size logo on the top fold warrant this as a 5th variant.
6. Both logos are different size to original. Different text in some of the boxes. Also printing colours appear to be shaded differently.

Sophie Aldred has tweeted that someone has asked her if she would like an Ace action figure.
As long as the person that asked her is in a position to provide one (ie someone from Character or Underground Toys) then it shows that the Classic line is continuing beyond the toys that are already in production.
This is great news to people like me who, although excited by the 3.75″ NuWho figures, had worried that it meant the end of the classics.

October 19th, 2012 - 2:56pmThe only problems i have with this set is the curse of the mis matched neck and the eyestalks that feal like they are going to break. other then that i would recommed this set to everyone.

October 19th, 2012 - 2:53pmI would think this is so people who had no luck finding this set the first time it was resleased, would now have the chance to get it again. and also the dalek collectors set 1 and 2 combined only have two supeme daleks. the others are not except the saucer piolet that flies the space ship, but is not classed as a supreme dalek.

October 18th, 2012 - 7:23pmHi guys, for all of you who live in Edinburgh or nearby I just bought a Dalek Collector Set #2 in B&M in Meadowbank Retail Park. There were only 2 left hidden behind other figures. This is a variant of the set (Daleks have rings on the sides,the gold dalek ears are brown with a different pattern and the package had got paper strings and no olographic logo)

October 20th, 2012 - 9:23pmSorry to hear that Booboo, I have the original set, but have been trying from the Fareham one to get the variant set, but eBay’s have been before me and bought the lot. Although I can see no shelf space for them, some local eBay dealers to me have sold 10 of them. I am in Oxford tomorrow on holiday but don’t really want to push it with the person I am with and go there as I suspect an eBayer has already been there…ditto Wantage. If I did not have any version of the set, then some serious pleading might occur.

October 18th, 2012 - 10:18amI need to know from anyone who has the original set, if the eyestalks are suppose to be flimsy, and a question for booboo, can you heat up a daleks base using a hairdryer and then screw it back onto the figure, because one of my imperial guards bases us bent, and i wanted to rectify the problem.

October 18th, 2012 - 2:45pmThe eye stalks on the original set are removable and as a result move around a bit more whereas with the re-release they are fixed in place, just like the FX Daleks, and feel more secure.

October 15th, 2012 - 3:41amThe gold Dalek now has rigged dome lights whereas on the original they were smooth. Apart from that all 3 Daleks are the same.
