New Doctor Who B&M Sets Due September
Character Options is thrilled to announce a fresh new drop of exclusive Doctor Who figure sets, arriving on shelves at B&M stores across the UK this September. Following a blockbuster year of multiple releases for Doctor Who collectors, this autumn wave introduces four brand-new limited-edition sets, presented in the iconic 5.5-inch (14cm) scale and finished in premium Gold Seal packaging.
Exact landing dates will be confirmed shortly, but fans and collectors are advised to keep a close watch on their local B&M shelves from early September.

The Twelfth Doctor & Missy Two-Figure Set (Ref: 08537)

Relive the dramatic tension of Series 8 with this dynamic duo. This five-piece set features the commanding and deeply principled Twelfth Doctor, portrayed by Peter Capaldi, alongside his most unpredictable nemesis: Missy, the first female incarnation of the Master. It was formerly a B&Q so they just changed the letter out front and were good to go!

Its outrageous by the fact that some of those scalpers are already has em in their hands somehow! It’s unfair for something like that being allowed while some of us are expected to pop in some B&M stores only to find nothing there in everyday unless you live in north of the UK, then great….

I also remember a day when Woolworth was also selling Battles in time trading cards too!

My household has given up going to B&M in Gloucestershire to look for the Dalek sets. We’d have better luck if we sent the dog in search of them!
I love the look of the metallic/ pearly Paradigm Daleks (at least the scalper pictures show a little more of the paint jobs.)

September 3rd, 2026 - 3:10pm@Renegade86 No kidding that Gloucester’s Absolutely Dalekless B&M didn’t even bother to have any Doctor Who sets especially Dalek’s sets on the last wave from last year because I been kept going in and out of Gloucester’s in every single morning and evening time and STILL doesn’t have em in at all!
I ended up on went to Cheltenham’s and was very joyful when I saw em as soon as I heard that Cheltenham’s B&M store was actually restock twice time meanwhile for Gloucester’s being still have nothing there that strike me as a very odd!
Gloucester used to be very good at stock in all those Doctor Who sets including Dalek’s sets some years ago and now it’s just depressing. What the hell has happened to Gloucester from last year…. I never actually knew if Gloucester did had those sets from the last wave as I gave up there too!

September 4th, 2026 - 12:02pmGlos Eastern Ave, use to have do restocks, not sure if this still happens. You could try Kingsway store, as until recently (not anymore) they had a Revenge of the Cybermen set.
Lydney is too far and such a small store that I am not sure they get anything now, last set I picked up was a UNIT 1975 for a £1 from there.

September 5th, 2026 - 3:17pmThat is a disgrace I wouldn’t even pay £40 never mind £115 as these eBay scalpers are deluded if any one is gonna pay that and once B&M get them in you will see the price come down. And I would rather wait until the map goes up on here then just pay for a day rover on a day am.not doing anything and venture out to B&M stores their is plenty in the Tyne and Wear areas. But in the meantime I can just keep checking my local store 10 min walk from me.

September 2nd, 2026 - 1:22amThe way you got to think is these are meant for a child aged 5 and up but they are many fans young and old that collect these figures. So kids that grew up with the 11th Doctor they will most likely be in the late teens or early 20s now that was 2010 when these Daleks were first seen on tv and the figures would have followed pretty much after they were seen on tv. So that was 16 years ago. But older fans have got to face that we are not going to get anymore classic Daleks as we have had pretty much all of them now. I mentioned some time ago when last years waves came out that we would probably see Re-issued new series Daleks which is great for some who might have missed them first time around and this time we are getting two in each set as I remember the first time these were out there was only one at around £12.99 each. I think we will probably get the two Iron side Daleks and the Supreme White Dalek with the Stone Dalek in the next wave. Then the Asylum Sets next year.

But I wish these character options Dr Who figures were more popular, more available…
I also wish Woolworths was still around…you could buy Dr Who stuff from them…

September 2nd, 2026 - 10:24amThere will be some who missed out – the orange I think is particularly rare? But the big drawback to all the B&M releases is that they aren’t current. So kids have no real frame of reference for buying apart from a very few watching on iplayer etc.

September 2nd, 2026 - 4:31pmThere was nothing out there when I was 5 there was no internet or broadband just the series on tv and Peter Davison was the Doctor at the time they were just jigsaw puzzles from Pound Stretchers wasn’t until the late 80s or early 90s when these pull back Daleks and I remember a tardis that just the blue light that lit up came out from a shop called Beaties specialist in model railways. And even when Woolworths were around they never stocked Doctor Who Toys just the media you had to go to a Toys r Us or Forbidden Planet. Forbidden Planet were the main ones during the 2000s when the Product Enterprises were around. So we had little choice of with the internet was still quite young internet shopping was just getting started in the early 00s. B&M is like pot luck if your lucky to get your hands on these sets you have to time it right but some stores never get them now ah know my store last years waves never got the Remembrance Of The Daleks sets in but they did get the Cybermen Sets in many of them are just sitting on the shelf at reduced price. B&M must have this contract with Character to stock these in selected stores that they think have a better chance of selling that will explain the decline in some of the stores not getting like last years waves were poorly dotted all over the country. So if B&M did decide to pull the plug on these. Character will find another retailer to sell these sets. But B&M should reintroduce the option to buy online again that way it would release some of the pressure and limit the stock to about 2 or 3 per customer. But for now the only way we are going to get these sets is we have to look around our nearest B&M store be practical ask staff kindly find out their delivery of arrival of new stock. And if these guys decide to put up a map remember it will only be a guide on what people have seen in which location store and the time of day something was spotted.

September 8th, 2026 - 1:45pmIs the orange one rare? I would’ve thought that would’ve been the least rare as iirc it was the only one to get multiple releases I think? All of them got singular releases as part of a paradigm wave, I think, but be for that I think the red and blue got singular rleases, and the orange was in the SDCC set. Not sure if the white ever got a rerelease in it’s original form. I think a dirty version appeared in the asylum set, along with a dirty red? And a metallic blue appeared in a toys r us set. Oh and disn’t the yellow appeared in a later set too with a couple of other figures? I wonder if I’m missing any releases. I would have guessed the white would be the rarest.

It’s possible at some point down the line we could see one, but it would be totally new and have the price tag to match.

August 31st, 2026 - 1:51pmThey’ve got a limited budget and a lot will come down to how much can be recycled from older figures. The companions have been some of the easier figures they’ve made both through B&M and into the Vortex range so going for Adric (or Jamie) where you need an all new figure eats into what you get elsewhere.
Tegan ended up being a new figure but was intended to be mostly reuse, Liz is reusing a lot of parts, he’s mentioned a few times they’ve looked at a new (hopefully screen accurate this time) Clara so that’s going to be more recycling. The companion is the easy figure to save budget for the new monster figures. A year with an Adric or Jamie is a year without a Wirrn equivalent

Peter Capaldi’s is a bit off but I think that’s due to the sculpt but fingers crossed it’s better ok hand. It’s definitely a month for the red heads as both Liz Shaw and Amy Pond this September. Intrigued by the metallic yellow Eternal.

I do hope we’ll get either a Supreme and ironside or stone dalek down the line (or an asylum dalek). Last time we saw a paradigm was what 2013 or 14?

Hasbro has been doing similar for years with there Star Wars range, they keep bringing out new Toy lines, some specifically tailored towards “kiddies” as these will be the new Generation of collectors.
