    the daleks never appear in the idw why?

      The word “Dalek” and their design is copyright to the terry nation estate – you cannot just use them, especially for commercial purpose.

      The estate has to approve everything to do with them and you have to pay for that privilege via a licence. It may be the costs are to high for such a magazine.

    Never been interested in these, but the story-line sounds great! Would like a book or even an episode like that!
