After seeing on the EM Figurine Facebook that some had appeared in the UK, I managed to get one on Amazon yesterday for £49. Very lucky as there were only 8 left when I got mine, all of which went very quickly. Already been dispatched so fingers crossed it arrives on one piece as a replacement will never happen.
This is encouraging as other unreleased figures, manufactured before the Eaglemoss colapse, may turn up too.

I assume so, especially as you said previously EU/US customers have already had thier stock so one can guess this was stored in a warehouse to be released with the next 2 issues for subscriber’s and a couple weeks later put on their site.

Would be nice to get this and the upcoming; now probably last 2 issues, though I assume current subscribers might get thier deliveries first (depending on administration) as at least that will get guaranteed sales on the mailing list.

Or they will just list whatever they have all at once when it comes to selling stock. Though at the moment nothing is looking promising.

I was tempted to buy the cleaner from bigbadtoystore in the US until i saw the $70 price. And thats before all shipping and vat costs. I imagine it will work its way onto some retail site eventually (if not from the shop))along with whatever was manuafactured before they shut down.

Apparently the 11th junkyard has sold out on bbts. A last minute desperate grab to get them whatever the cost it seems.

Anyone got theirs yet? I saw on Twitter they’d been arriving, phoned Eaglemoss to chase and they were adamant they weren’t in yet and definitely hadn’t been sent out. If anything they got a bit huffy with me for suggesting otherwise.

The ones you are seeing are most likely from people in the EU or the USA where they have arrived some time back.

As far as i know no one the the UK has had one.

Joined the many who opt for the FP site which used to be a last resort, but up to now have proved more than reliable and the paint apps have so far been perfect. and with covid and all the Brexit Issues shall continue to do so. I hope things change next year. Merry xmas by the way.

I’ve pre-ordered the ‘Paradise Towers’ cleaner robot. It’s a great design and I didn’t want to miss out on this superb figurine. I don’t buy many, but the handful I have bought have been ‘Special Edition’ releases.

      That’s a great idea!

Or they could do the IMC robot from ‘Colony in Space’ as a special too…lots to choose from in that story!

    • the ergon

      December 10th, 2021 - 11:55pm

I would much prefer eaglemoss start individual storysets . That way we could get things like the guardian the priest and Uxaerian warrior in one set. That way they could finish these single releases at 120 (lost Interest since you couldn,t get these on a fortnightly basis). Also we could get the IMC machine as a special somewhere down the line. I,m sure there are people out there who might agree with this idea.

    • the ergon

      December 10th, 2021 - 11:57pm

I for one would buy all of these in individual storysets if the cost wasn,t too extortionate.

    • Doug Who

      December 11th, 2021 - 5:09pm

I always liked the idea of a series of villain/monster double sets similar to the Time Lord series, such as Kraal/Android, Drahvin/Chumblie, Collector/Gatherer, even Khalid/Plasmaton, and inevitably, Skagra/Krarg!

Story themed sets would be good too.

That sounds a wee bit exigent Ergon! 😉 I’m sure Neil and all are busy with lots of new figurine ideas. I might imagine sorting the rights for monster/villain double packs could possibly be nightmarish!

I’m just hoping the collection lasts long enough for a you-know-what! The Mutt was my second most wanted and it is an absolute triumph!

    • The ergon

      December 13th, 2021 - 11:28am

      December 13th, 2021 - 8:10pm

I had forgotten you had cancelled your subscription Ergon! Hope FP come through for you. I kept mine which I’ve had from day one, mainly for the Daleks but also the knowledge they’ll turn up…eventually!

It has been really frustrating at times, with damaged figures and all the recent delays, but I try to balance that with there are more important things to worry about in the world! And also I love this collection!

Good luck with the Mutt. It really is one of the best so far! Maybe Ebay is an option with this one? I’ve often found bargains for customising and you might be lucky 🙂

      December 13th, 2021 - 8:20pm

I missed a package the other day doug, s hoping its the navarino, borad and recon dalek. Apparently some have been recieving or expecting these from fp. Ill be glad when the online shop is back in front again. The problem with fp is if you get an inferior or damaged figurine, you cant always get a replacement so its just a refund. And there are no mutts still available on their site.

    • Doug Who

      December 13th, 2021 - 10:22pm

Well that’s one advantage of FP Ergon. I hope it is the figures you’re waiting for.

No idea when subscribers will receive the Borad and the Dalek! Good sign that if you are getting those at least they are in the country. The Eaglemoss shop seems to be the last priority but to be honest, I have no real idea what’s going on, so I wait…patiently!

Sure the Mutt figurine will be in the Moss shop eventually.

      December 13th, 2021 - 11:03pm

I only ever buy the odd ‘Special Edition’ ones as they are much in size with the 5 inch character option figures. I’ve only got a War Machine, Dalek Emperor, a Kroton, K1 Giant Robot, Drathro and Face of Boe. But I’m definitely going to try and get the robotic cleaner from one of my favourite McCoy stories ‘Paradise Towers’. I really like this particular figurine!

Crosby, I’m not sure about that, Their Star Trek ships partwork finished at 180 issues a year or two ago, but since then they have released a ton of further specials, mini-series of models and further Trek items via their ship. If BBC Studios are agreeable, the license to make DW models and figurines might well continue, just not via a regular (well, was regular!) magazine format.

I’m not sure about that Crosby. Theirs been alot of debate over the years when the Subscription will end. But as for the Specials. Box sets, Megas etc theirs no reason why they can’t continue. (Two different things).

Give us a break Ergon! 🙂 I haven’t even finished the Kandyman yet then there’s two specials I want to start.

Not sure I would attempt a human character. I much prefer the monsters and anyway likenesses would be a nightmare. I did make a bust of the Collector a few years ago but that was a bigger scale.

An Eaglemoss Chief Caretaker figurine would be good down the line however.

Ha! Ha! i half expected that response Doug and deserved it just for the cheek. If i could crack those legs and arms id have a go myself but like you i,d be constantly doubting myself when it came to physical likeness. I,d have to see whats left when eaglemoss call it a day on these. Still got 2 for mould which are looking now like early 2022 and ill finish that kandyman or it will finish me. One of us is going down thats for sure.
