Idris from wave 1 left and wave 2 right. Although the wave 2 figure came with 5 cubes it is still marked wave 2a on the packaging, it has a more matt finish (especially the hair ) than wave one although this doesn’t show in the image.

August 24th, 2011 - 11:29pmAll of my series 5 figures are still in the packaging, with the exception of the TARDIS playset and Cyberman sentry form Argos – my series 6 figures will remain in their packaging until I complete the scripts for my epic adventure series that will start sometime between Jan 2012 and the 50th Anniversary in 2013… Watch this space Whovians 😀

Uncle isn’t a bad figure, like Series five’s Peter the Winder, but he’s a bit pointless really.
The Astronaught, on the other hand, is a poor figure considering the importance and significance of this character/monster. The paint is all wrong, really unsatisfactory if you ask me. 😡

Im so pleased with the great job they’ve done, best figure I’m going to enjoy probably the whole year !

August 22nd, 2011 - 4:33pmi have never liked the hands on the matt smith figures. they are far too big. also, you cannot really point sonics with the hands. why can’t they use the hands from the raggedy doctor or the doctor in fez? they are smaller and able to point sonics well.

August 22nd, 2011 - 3:32pmMate I think you would have better chance of getting them in TRU or forbidden planet, or even online if you can’t get to those places.
It’s you’re choice, but I would recommend getting Riversong over the astronaught its a far better action figure/toy, infact a Silence figure would be my choice. Good luck on that choice 😀
