Dr Who Figurine Collection Rare Dalek #22 (20) Dalek Exhibit

Available to order from scificollector via www.ebay.co.uk or www.scificollectorshop.co.uk

This figure features incredible detail and is part of a collectable limited edition series of fine quality figurines from Eaglemoss.

Figures in this collectable series are frozen in a ‘Moment in Time’ pose which is detailed on the collectors box.

The Dalek Exhibit figure is part of the unreleased collection of Eaglemoss statues which were considered unlikely to see light of day. We managed to secure the stock from the factory in China where they had sat since Eaglemoss went into administration.

We launched Karvanista #216 in February at the opening of our new store in St. Albans, with Movellan #217, Swarm #218 & Bellal #219 following on March 18th at an event at the store. We’ve subsequently launched The Black Guardian #220, Vinder #221, The Ood Elder #222 & Aure #223, along with the Image of the Fendahl Story set. The last set of releases were Stike #224, Execution Squad Dalek #225, Thal #226 & Weeping Angel Doctor #227.

This listing is for the previously unreleased Dalek Exhibit #SD22 figure which featured in the 1st Doctor story, The Space Museum.

This figure is part of the Rare Dalek series and considered Rare Dalek 20, yet to be known as #SD22.

Supplied brand new in its blister and box.

I’ve always wondered why this collection was held in such high regard and I’m wondering if anyone here can enlighten me (I don’t mean to sound rude, I’m just genuinely curious!)

I collected the first twelve issues or so and found them rather lacking. Some Dalek and monster figurines were decent, but the human figurines seem to be largely shocking and there appears to have been little care taken with the paint job (what’s with the Dalek eyestalks that look like they’re leaking?!)

Again, really sorry if it comes across as rude. I had really high hopes for this collection and was do disappointed by what I received.

Can’t say I really disagree, which surprised me because their DC chess collection was outstanding. Some of these figurines are great, but many aren’t, and the good ones were too few and far between to make a subscription worthwhile IMO. The Daleks are great though.

That looks more like doctor omega from the book covers by Andrew skilleter.

Yes not sure where the big white bushy eyebrows come from! Maybe time for the paintbrushes one last time.

Sad it’s come to an end, but it has been a little expensive to complete the collection. That said, I do like it on my shelves in my home office.

It’s the end… and the moment really hasn’t been prepared for.

Thank you to Neil and the rest of the team at EM that brought us almost ten full years of what has to be the most comprehensive collection of villains, allies, and Doctors, in figurine form.

Thank you too for SC for bringing us the missing figurines and ensuring that they were limited purchases to prevent scalping.

Absolutely fantastic, brilliant collection that I doubt will ever be topped.

Might be a comprehensive collection of ‘nu who’ material I consider if far from being a comprehensive collection of classic material though.

‘The MOST comprehensive’ I never said it was perfect. But you won’t find better.

There was a colossal amount of classic who figurines in there it’s weird to pretend there wasn’t.

Yes, 10 years is a long, long time. I’ve no complaints. It was a Great Collection. Probably will never be Equaled.

I assume this is probably the last special dalek to be made due to the fact these were released every 10 issues or so.

Really nice figure and I will be buying this as I have all the unreleased releases , but is this really the last of them? If so it’s sad but I feel we’ve been very lucky with the figures I didn’t even imagine we would get our hands on, so thank you Sci-fi collector!

Sad that this is the very last figurine and quite an expensive one to boot! Pity the only way to save is the bundle with older figurines repackaged really but there was nothing else new left. Having said that I’m very glad SF Collector has given us the chance to get these.

Personally I’d hoped that the final release was the Axon Creature we saw the prototype for, but not to be. It is I suppose fitting that the last one is the First Doctor and Dalek in a way, but I don’t think the sculpt has quite caught Hartnell’s mischievous look as he emerges from the casing.

Very unfortunate that the collection came to such an ignominious end but we had fun along the way and there were so many fabulous figurines released, lots I never though we would see. Things like Koquillion, Kroton, Solonian Mutant and the Mandrel are just glorious!

Thanks to Neil and everyone else involved for making it such a blast over the last decade!

This looks so weird, like a fan custom. The scale is all wrong.

Wasn’t aware there were unannounced figures already produced. No wonder Eaglemoss went under!

The head scale might be smaller in hand.

The mouth does look strange and it does lack the first doctors mischievous and expressive face.

Yeah, I just looked at it and thought, “ruddy hell”.

It’s just because the photo has been taken from above that the perspective makes the scale look wrong. When you see it in its box perfectly side-on then the scale looks absolutely correct.

This looks like a lovely and fun figure to me.

This doesn’t look right to me… The Doctor should be sitting forward in the Dalek, like the Dalek operator should be, not sideways like this figurine is implying.
