I really want to original McCoy one of these. But if I ever get it, I’ll be tempted to get the one here just for the un-hatted head variant, especially if they are easy to swap.

It’s very easy to swap the heads of these figures – I’m already thinking about the 4th Doctors head on the 5th Doctors body to get an 18th season 4th Doctor.

They’re just like plastic doll joints. Pull off and can be twisted back on.

The 2nd Doctor is a welcome surprise considering what eps remain of him makes it easy to forget that the hat was a part of his look. The 8th Doctor would have looked a bit weird in a towel. The 10th looks fine although his era has been beaten to death by Titan. I think the newly regenerated War would have been hard since we never clearly saw his whole body, whilst we saw enough of 9 to make him a chase figure, even though 3 wasn’t clearly seen in the 2nd’s clothes so it almost defeats my point. River is still a good choice as she fits the theme

There could have been a John Simm Master in Professor Yana’ s clothes as well, unless that’s a chase figure for the Gallifrey collection.

The Sylvester McCoy one is quite a unique one, first time we see a bit of DW merch which has Colin’s red cravat from the full arc of ‘Trial’ as the only other different cravat released in merch was the yellow one on a 5 inch fig from ‘Vervoids’ 🙂

It says in the description it is blind-boxed so you can’t see what’s inside. I’d rather not blind-boxed but I suppose it sells more 😆

These look so so so exciting! I always see all the new releases and think ‘I’m definitely buying that’ but the price means I can usually only get about 2-3 and the threat of getting the same one twice also puts me off. I really want to get all these but probably won’t be able to, I’ll definitely get one though!

The 12th Doctor version is wrong, he should be wearing his 11th Doctor’s clothes in this regeneration collection, not his actual clothes that Peter’s Doctor will be seen wearing.

Aside from that, all the other look great, even thou it is weird seeing River Song in the group when she is not the Doctor, and they have not done a younger version of the War Doctor in the 8th Doctors clothes from ‘The Night of the Doctor’.

looks to me they are using it as away to give us the 12th doctor without waiting for a whole 8th series wave which could be a long way off

The ‘Geronimo!’ set has already been put back by 2 months until the end of July – So they can forget those later dates scheduled for the ‘Gallifrey’ & ‘Regeneration’ Sets…

When are they going to produce some classic aliens.. ???????

I like all of those …apart from the river song one a totally superfluous addition to the set..why didnt they include the John Hurt Doctor instead ???
