      Between War or TOTD
War because its a 50th anniversary merchandise!
TOTD because its most likely Smiths last figure!

Still on fence about impossible set. Hoping they do a clara and 12th doc set in 5inch soon.

Just compared the 5″ Capaldi head to the 3.75″ ones… Yeah… The 3.75″ toys are bad

The 3.75″ Capaldi head isn’t that bad, it’s better then what you’d get with a Star Wars figure!

Star wars figures are quite good well sometimes

Does anyone else’s figure have the tiniest of slits in his purple coat? When you’re looking at the figure, it’s on the left-hand side roughly halfway up/down.

    • Chris

      November 15th, 2014 - 11:40am

It sounds like a manufacturing issue. I changed the waistcoats the other day and it was fine, so I don’t think it’s anything to get worried about.

      November 15th, 2014 - 12:50pm

I have that on my War Doctor figure!

      In exactly the same position?

My two sets arrived today (well yesterday now). They do look brilliant. Of course I haven’t taken them out of their boxes, as one is a Christmas present for my boys and the other is just for me to keep and to decide what to do with it later, so I can’t make a full judgement, but they look pretty good. Can’t say they were worth the price, but I couldn’t pass up a Series 7 Part 2 Eleventh Doctor figure.

Still no dispatch email. Really Quite upset. Was going to be a reward for raising money for Children In Need today (as it hadn’t arrived sooner) but now isn’t. I wish I lived closer to one of the stores so I could just buy it.

You might want to contact FP (or wherever you ordered from) about that, everyone else seems to have had it dispatched, and most people’s have even arrived.

      November 14th, 2014 - 5:31pm

sometimes with these items you order them so long ago that the card date you used as a payment method expires or something like that

      worth checking

    • Dalekparadigm2

      November 16th, 2014 - 11:29pm

how would i go about checking? I couldn’t find an email address for fpi anywhere. Maybe i missed it.

    November 14th, 2014 - 4:16pm

Mine arrived today! It’s fantastic bar a few issues, namely:

One of handle’s eyes isn’t completely painted, not that noticeable
The aged 11 head has brown in his hair (this might be normal, not sure)
Some paint bleeds on the shirt pieces
Capaldi’s hair has been painted over onto his forehead (quite noticeable)
Smith has dodgy eyes and a glue mark on his forehead (quite noticeable)
The coat has a little slit in it (i notice this a lot)
The sonic is badly painted (this is on all of them really)

Is this worth complaining to FP about? Or leave it

      its up to you

however character DO want to know about any manufacturing issues so if you are really not happy with some aspects drop FP a line and see what they say

    • mick

      November 14th, 2014 - 4:27pm

one of mine had a dodgy leg and had been opened before as the tape had been removed from the tardis box and the ties holding the figure to the blister inside had been removed. I have emailed popcultcha twice now and still yet to get a reply. wouldn’t mind but when you pay £26.67 in customs fees you expect your goods to be factory fresh!

    • Nathan

      November 14th, 2014 - 10:21pm

The sonic in mine is the best painted sonic yet. Also looks like a new mould?

    • doctor what

      November 14th, 2014 - 10:25pm

Yes i think this and the impossible set sonics are new molds. That slit i said about in the coat is getting bigger, probably due to swapping the shirt pieces. I will probably get onto FP about this.

I see your point, still need a proper Night of the Doctor Eighth Doctor though and TVM Seventh Doctor in hat and straight face.
Not to mention a straight faced Capaldi all in 5 inch.

If the discontinued range means we get good quality figures the fans want then yes. Plenty more classics to be produced.

    • Oracle

      November 14th, 2014 - 7:19am

Yes definitely , now that they have the head sculpt it would be mad not to make the Night of the Doctor McGann . I was hoping they did a 14 doctors set with variants of each doctor in compared to te 11 doctors set.

      November 19th, 2014 - 11:51pm
