May 5th, 2026 - 10:38amMR are a shambles, Nath (and that’s putting it mildly). I ordered the Battles Retroduction set plus 14th and 15th Doctor figurines in one order back in December. After recent communication with MR – which you can only do by email – I paid extra shipping to have my Retroduction set sent now, as I was told it was available but the figurines weren’t. They’ve now sent me the 14th Doctor figurine on its own – which wasn’t what I paid the extra shipping for. I now suspect there are no Retroduction sets left in stock – I’m awaiting a further response from MR. And now I’m reading on here about missing card packs and varying quality printing. Not good.

April 30th, 2026 - 8:29amIf that’s so, and they’re both scheduled to release at the end of May, it’ll kinda be a disservice to the people who preordered from Zavvi… that we’ve had to preorder and wait months and months of delays just to get them at the same time they get released in the shops.

The cards are solid and thick but the foil effect is poor quality and makes the images very dark compared to their original versions, davros and sarah janes face for example are barely visible, any image with a prominent face is washed in darkness
The choice of cards is also bizarre, the usual expectations in there but some you just think “out of 1000 cards, they chose these?!”
Overall somewhat disappointed, the original sets were better quality, bright and colourful.
These are a cash grab and if the reboot of BIT is based on this……Will be a pass
TCGs are premium and proced accordingly, these were not that

April 26th, 2026 - 9:17amI figured the whole point of the preorder 4/5 months in advance was so that they had an idea of the demand so enough could be printed that they wouldn’t run out without supplying everyone.

April 26th, 2026 - 2:52pmI too had a message saying to expect the set on, firstly, Thursday, then Friday. In fact, mine too hasn’t even been received by Royal Mail according to the tracking. I have sent MR yet another email trying to find out what is going on.
The company is an absolute shambles. They tried to say they were going to improve their contact/updates but have absolutely failed to do so.
They are unable to give a release date for their Troughton figure – despite what others have said on here. The latest they told me (last week) was that their “management team was seeking to resolve the matter as a matter of urgency”. I think they have a different understanding of the work urgency to me.

I placed my order on the 24th December, and have received previous emails regarding the dispatch delay and that they were organising alternative shipping to get the sets to us by 30th April. But no update since…

“ Hello, We hope you’re doing well. We wanted to provide you with the latest update regarding your order tor Doctor Who Trading Card Game Battles in time retroduction Pack.
Our supplier has informed us of a new release date. The new estimated release date is 31st May 2026. As soon as we receive the stock, we’ll process and dispatch your order without delay.”
So it’s been delayed by another month again

April 16th, 2026 - 12:50pmCould that be just for Zavvi though and not Master Replicas, because you have to think they will prioritise MR orders first, THEN dispatch orders to Zavvi, who will then dispatch to thier customers, so I feel people who ordered through MR will get theirs sooner,
