Forbidden Planet Nottingham (Friar Lane) are stocking these, along with a few other figures. I picked up a Clara Oswald.

I think I prefer the vortex Ruby Red top figure. So, I’m happy enough with just that one.

I love the look of all these figures and I have bought the Vortex editions but I have to be a bit pedantic about this… I understand it’s just a repaint but this version of Ruby’s outfit isn’t wearing a skirt or skorts, she’s actually just wearing shorts. While not a massive issue, I just couldn’t help but point it out.

I think the Jackets wrong aswell, I don’t think the Blue Jacket had a Belt like the Black Version has. It’s fine though, like you say there just repaints of an Existing mold to save CO (a lot) of Money.

Ahh didn’t spot that haha. Yeah nothing big really, but just something to notice if accuracy is important to the buyer. For me, I was only gonna get the one anyway and I went with the other version.

I find it a bit odd they have released no monster figures or a tardis for them to go in. Also what happened to the green monster figure from the 14th doctor era that was shown same time as ruby and 15th?

The 13th Doctors Tardis didn’t sell well on release and ended up on sale at Argos to shift stock.

Al said on a podcast that it will most likely be re-released as 15’s in a B&M set late 2025.

Unfortunately, the green creature was not picked up as something of interest by retailers. I thought it could have been a great collect and build figure with parts included with other releases. The plush beep the meep wasn’t picked up either.

Without monsters, Tardis and other 2023+ figures I see the range not being a successful reboot although we might see stuff as exclusives on CO site.

I expect Vortex Editions of the older Doctors too.

Ruby/15th Doctor, “Wrath” and a Meep Plush were all shown at the UK Toy Fair. It’s where Company’s show there Prototype Products to prospective retailers to see if there’s any interest in them. It’s been Documented that there was no interest at all in the 5.5 inch Wrarth or the Meep Plush. I think RTD said so himself in an interview. There’s no point Character Options making products that no one as any interest in, it could cost them hundreds of Thousands in revenue.

The be Fair Loobop, after saying that, just because retail wasn’t interested doesn’t mean there isn’t any interest from the Fans. Character Options should have put these into production anyway and sold them Online from there own site like they have done before. I’m sure the Meep plush especially would have sold well.

The Wrarth Warrior & Meep still have a chance of being released next year, they haven’t been strictly cancelled as of now.

Regarding the TARDIS, sadly Al has confirmed they don’t have the budget for an all new TARDIS right now, however as said before he said they might re-release the 13 TARDIS in 14/15’s colours at B&M next year.

Love the Destroyer of Worlds. I keep hinting on Harrops Facebook page for them to make him. Make him and my life’s Complete.

That’s a shame that CO can’t make a new sculpt for 15th’s TARDIS as they don’t have the budget…

Well, I guess a re-release will have to do for me then

Snowman – the 15 and Ruby costs have been shared across retail and exclusive. Theres no way an exclusive only brand new sculpt would be economically viable. The Wrarth warriors aren’t that popular anyway I would say. I’d have thought Toymaker.

True Dalekoddjob the Ruby/15th Figures were shared across Exclusives and Retail. I remember, (going back years now). Character Options had to Make 2 Missy and then 4 Peter Capaldi Variants for Online Exclusives just to make them Viable.

In hand the Vortex images look astonishing. With cheekbones and no cheekbloat.

Fantastic detail, colouring .so much so I would live a set of Dr /companion figure set for each Doctor,in the new no neckline ,super move edition.

It’s a game changer for CO . Best figures ever. So looking forward to these “Standard”Figures. I had that phrase as these also have no neckline join. One gripe as there has to be. I wish space Babies Figure had no coat. Or a future boom version has no coat.

Funny enough, these look SO much better than the CO exclusive versions in my opinion. The Doctor’s trousers look more like the prototype, which I preferred as the CO one looks like unpainted plastic to me and doesn’t look too good. But I like these ones, I might actually get them. Well, maybe not the Ruby actually, her ET finger creeps me out.

Having just got the Vortex version I am glad I have the phone accessory to hide her very long E.T. finger. It is the only thing that is off with the figure.

To be Fair, Millie had problems with her Eyebrows years ago. I remember reading about her when she was in Coronation Street, saying she had an accident when she was young and had to have Stitches in one eyebrow leaving the small gap she as now. I just used to think she shaved it as a Fashion Statement. (Alot of people seemed to have the Shaved Eyebrow a few years ago) LOL.
