Is it just me or does anyone feel that this upcoming series 10 is now pointless because Peter has announced that he is leaving at the end of the year!

How’s it pointless? Although Peter’s leaving there’s still stories to tell for the Twelfth Doctor 🙂

Just as a small warning to anyone hoping that the front cover’s main image means we get a feature or interview of some kind regarding Season Ten, no such luck – the only ‘new’ revelations about the 2017 run come from a guide to the thirteen eps (12 eps and an Xmas special) mostly comprising of who’s writing which, the already-announced castings and filming locations which anyone who follows #DWSR will already know.

As a long-running DWM devotee since 2007, I’ll pick up any and every issue of the magazine until its (or my) demise, but I’d rather not have my hopes needlessly raised by their new series covers if it’s just a means for them to sell issues during months when there’s a shortage of major ‘Who’ news or features to run (though looking forward to reading the supernatural one over the weekend).

It did reveal that episode 1 will contain the Dalek scenes though, rather than it being a whole separate Dalek episode like it seemed from the trailer.

This arrived today. The article on the supernatural seems like it might be a good read.

I reckon it’s probably a dream come true for Capaldi considering he was a fan during Pertwee’s era 🙂 After reading the last panel in last months DWM I heard that famous theme of the Master’s from “Terror of the Autons” inside my head and I goggled in amazement!

Thank you DWM for not having a regeneration cover. There’s AGES till the search even begins and even longer till we see the regeneration scene. So thank you for being one of the few Who outlets not speculating who the next Doctor will be.

Well I guess DWM want to promote the new series first and foremost. Plus they may have gone to press before Capaldi’s announcement.

Still, it’s nice to see the current Doctor and Nardole on the cover again. Makes me excited for the new series.
