3.75″ Into the Dalek Set
Anonymous
June 20th, 2015 - 8:43pmSo we know that Clara & Rusty are coming out later in the 3.75″ waves individually.
From a collecting point of view we’re getting a new Dalek hovabout, an Electronic Rusty & a slighter larger than average new ‘Into The Dalek’ Time Zone.
I’m wondering if the Electronic Rusty will be ‘truly’ exclusive to this set? Or will it get a later separate release?
The Argos Cyberguard with Sword Exclusive came with the Doctor’s Tardis set, then was later available as a Threshold Spend offer at Character.
Want it, but will certainly wait until the price has dropped.

June 20th, 2015 - 5:50pmThis set looks rather impressive… gives me hope that one day they might possibly do a 3.75 TARDIS playset…
The new Doctor
June 20th, 2015 - 7:13pmWe have been waiting sine 2012 I can not believe they haven’t made one yet
Dalek The Supreme
June 20th, 2015 - 5:44pmOh, man… This is a really cool looking set. I already have the Twelfth Doctor, but this is a great looking playset with not one, but three Daleks. Hoping this goes on Amazon soon.

June 20th, 2015 - 5:48pmI know! I love the inclusion of the nano scaler! 😀
100000BC
June 20th, 2015 - 5:59pmMaybe the nano scaler could be used to turn them all into 5″! That would make a certain section of fans (me included, although I have no objection to 3.75″) very happy.
There’s an idea that could make its way onto someone’s fan figure adventures YouTube channel…
Dalek The Supreme
June 21st, 2015 - 4:17am@EndlessTimelord I know, right? 😀
@10000BC It would probably make them 1 inch. 😆
100000BC
June 21st, 2015 - 12:28pmOh no! Not another scale of figures we have to collect! 😉 Theoretically the nano scaler could be used in the opposite direction though…?

June 20th, 2015 - 5:35pmGuys! This is just a mock up image. The 12th Doctor might have the red lining in his coat and some better paint apps. Am I the only one who loves the look of it???
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 5:38pmto many people are far to quick to be critical as most people here and other forums already own most, if not all of the figures.
this set is not aimed at them
people need to realise there is whole market of casual and Christmas buyers out there who will own nothing or very little
This is great set for that market
EndlessTimelord
June 20th, 2015 - 5:42pmAh ok thanks Booboo. I am a fan of both ranges maybe that’s why. Is it possible 12 can have red lining? And what do you think of it?
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 5:45pmfrom what i understand they couldn’t get approval or it didn’t look right or something so I dont think it will have
as a set its look terrific
shatner
June 20th, 2015 - 6:46pmjust take coat off and paint your red lining yourself. I did and it looks lovely. just make a test first to make sure it dries and holds properly and leave to dry over night.

June 20th, 2015 - 5:08pmThink I’ll wait for Tartan Clara and Rusty to be released in the next wave. That will be £14…I can’t justify an extra £36 for a hovabout, 3 figures I already have and a pile of shiny card.
The Legend Doctor
June 20th, 2015 - 5:04pmNot impressed with this set but ill buy it around christmas time so its more cheaper :3
The Legend Doctor
June 20th, 2015 - 5:05pmWell actually im 50/50 with this set
The Good Things: New Clara Rusty and New Hoverbout and New Time Zone
The Bad Things: Not all daleks are moving ones.. Same 12th Doctor and No Flight Tardis!!
The Legend Doctor
June 20th, 2015 - 5:10pmAlso why is it £50!! I would rather have it for £30 then £50
Think about it
5 figures
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 5:25pmyou must be joking
5x £7 is £35 + a huge playset and hoverboat
The Legend Doctor
June 20th, 2015 - 6:36pmTrue..

June 20th, 2015 - 5:00pmIts a shame we had to wait this long for the new waves. its a long time to wait for 2 new figures. does the mix up mean we will get 4b and 4c together or closer together. Also will there be a wave 4d or wave 5 for series 8. the teller would be nice. Our BBC shop is closing in Brighton so they said they wont be getting any more. even bigger shame. i will just have to get online. Looking again at this VALUE SET! I do like it the set looks amazing. i do feel a bit tricked about dalek sec though. we were told it was going to be rare. a lot of people spent a lot of money trying to get it when first released if they had known was coming out later would have been fairer. i will have to put money aside for this i didnt get bronze dalek originally so ill give 12 dr away and keep the rest
Doctorgeorgebaker
June 20th, 2015 - 4:40pmIs this something I need to get now? 50 is quite a lot but like all the other sets it will go down in a couple of months

June 20th, 2015 - 4:34pmCharacter. The only good thing about this is that Clara.
Colin the 3rd
June 20th, 2015 - 5:35pmnothing wrong with the Daleks either
TARDISGuy
June 20th, 2015 - 4:28pmI do like the look of that Clara
Doctor_Number 10
June 20th, 2015 - 4:17pmI was wondering when there would be more DW 3.75 figures news. Booboo, do you know when the next wave of 3.75 will come out?:
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 4:19pmno i think there was some ordering mix up at the beginning of the year or something so everything has been moved on a bit
i think we should have had 2 further waves by now
koloth
June 20th, 2015 - 6:11pmI spoke to a Toys R Us representative as to why theres no wave 1 yet and she said because its not on telly yet. Stores want to link it into the series. That’s why I think theres a delay
the doctor
June 20th, 2015 - 4:10pmwell will it be In shop to collect or just order and when
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 4:14pmboth and you will have to ask Argos when
Anonymous
June 20th, 2015 - 4:30pmNorthampton six fields said that the early delivery for that is the 20th of August
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 5:27pmseems odd to put something on-line like this that wont be available for 2 month
Grand Moff Moffat
June 20th, 2015 - 3:54pm(Sighs) Presumably not available in the US.
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 3:59pmif they are offered to Underground toys then they could be
shatner
June 20th, 2015 - 3:41pmthis does look great but i’d rather buy rusty and Clara separatly. 50 pound is way too much for me
shatner
June 20th, 2015 - 3:43pmthey could of at least changed the doctors shirt
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 3:48pmlike is said, these sets are not designed for people who have already bought into the range
I can really image what people would say if one figure variant was entirely exclusive to this set
shatner
June 20th, 2015 - 3:56pmwill rusty and Clara be sold separately
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 3:58pmyes they are both in a future waves (although rusty is std not moving but still the same figure)
100000BC
June 20th, 2015 - 3:30pmCould they do a stripped back version with just the set and hovabout and black Dalek (maybe Clara too) because I already have bronze Daleks and the 12th Doctor and I’m not too keen on an electronic Dalek or a Rusty figure; for me it just makes the set a bit too expensive.
I suppose it would be a good starting point for collecting these if you bought this and the 12th Doctor’s TARDIS as then you would have a TARDIS, Doctor and Companion set with some Daleks and a set for them to move about in.
However it’s probably a no from me!
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 3:34pmproblem is when making such products they dont have the “collector” in mind
its basically an Argos value set for people who perhaps haven’t bought anything or not very much Doctor Who wise.
A start as you say
100000BC
June 20th, 2015 - 5:54pmExactly; To be honest if I could get the Clara and Black Dalek both separately for a decent price then I wouldn’t be too fussed about getting the rest.
I could get the electronic black Dalek but I wouldn’t use the electronic feature.
I am one of the people who, although I understand the reasons behind the change, and am excited by the prospect of dioramas and sets and a slightly lower price and the fact that they’re [almost] in scale with the Merlin figures, would rather have stuck with 5″ to keep my collection the same size. This is just one of those things we’ll have to get used to.
Professor Black
June 20th, 2015 - 3:30pmI think I would want everything to be made from plastic and not cardboard for this price… although I’m sure I’ll pick one up as it looks like great fun and an updated Clara would be nice. I especially like that Rusty is electronic and another bronze dalek never hurts. Is the 12th Doctor the same as previously released?…

June 20th, 2015 - 3:23pmI’m guessing this will be in stock when the new catalogue comes out next month
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 3:24pmvery unusual for them to add an item like this before catalogue launch
AlexanderOP
June 20th, 2015 - 3:17pmHow much is this?
Whovian 4ever
June 20th, 2015 - 3:15pmHow much is it it looks amazing
Have you got a Link
Nicholas
June 20th, 2015 - 3:18pm£49.99 Everything by itself would be £57 so it’s not too bad
koloth
June 20th, 2015 - 6:16pm4 x £7 + £8 + £10 = £46.00. so just slightly overpriced
booboo
June 20th, 2015 - 6:21pmthis looks a bigger playset with a bit more to it than the previous £10 ones
Nicholas
June 20th, 2015 - 7:40pm4x 6.99 = 27.96 (4x Figures) + 9.99 (Electric Dalek) + at least 19.99 for a large playset = 57.94, so £58 really
Nicholas
June 20th, 2015 - 7:46pmOh no, ignore me, the original sets were £10, not £15, so about £54 all together if buying singly
the astronaut of death
June 20th, 2015 - 3:09pmBit pricey .
Nicholas
June 20th, 2015 - 3:16pmIt comes with 4 figures, an electronic dalek and a Time Zone. By themselves it’d be £57 so it’s not bad at all tbh
StetsonDoctor
June 20th, 2015 - 3:07pmDefinitely getting this-I need that new Clara for my YouTube Figure Adventures!
