So we know that Clara & Rusty are coming out later in the 3.75″ waves individually.

From a collecting point of view we’re getting a new Dalek hovabout, an Electronic Rusty & a slighter larger than average new ‘Into The Dalek’ Time Zone.

I’m wondering if the Electronic Rusty will be ‘truly’ exclusive to this set? Or will it get a later separate release?

The Argos Cyberguard with Sword Exclusive came with the Doctor’s Tardis set, then was later available as a Threshold Spend offer at Character.

Want it, but will certainly wait until the price has dropped.

Oh, man… This is a really cool looking set. I already have the Twelfth Doctor, but this is a great looking playset with not one, but three Daleks. Hoping this goes on Amazon soon.

I know! I love the inclusion of the nano scaler! 😀

    • 100000BC

      June 20th, 2015 - 5:59pm

Maybe the nano scaler could be used to turn them all into 5″! That would make a certain section of fans (me included, although I have no objection to 3.75″) very happy.

There’s an idea that could make its way onto someone’s fan figure adventures YouTube channel…

      @EndlessTimelord I know, right? 😀

@10000BC It would probably make them 1 inch. 😆

Oh no! Not another scale of figures we have to collect! 😉 Theoretically the nano scaler could be used in the opposite direction though…?

Guys! This is just a mock up image. The 12th Doctor might have the red lining in his coat and some better paint apps. Am I the only one who loves the look of it???

to many people are far to quick to be critical as most people here and other forums already own most, if not all of the figures.

this set is not aimed at them

people need to realise there is whole market of casual and Christmas buyers out there who will own nothing or very little

This is great set for that market

    • EndlessTimelord

      June 20th, 2015 - 5:42pm

Ah ok thanks Booboo. I am a fan of both ranges maybe that’s why. Is it possible 12 can have red lining? And what do you think of it?

    • booboo

      June 20th, 2015 - 5:45pm

from what i understand they couldn’t get approval or it didn’t look right or something so I dont think it will have

as a set its look terrific

    • shatner

      June 20th, 2015 - 6:46pm

just take coat off and paint your red lining yourself. I did and it looks lovely. just make a test first to make sure it dries and holds properly and leave to dry over night.

Think I’ll wait for Tartan Clara and Rusty to be released in the next wave. That will be £14…I can’t justify an extra £36 for a hovabout, 3 figures I already have and a pile of shiny card.

Its a shame we had to wait this long for the new waves. its a long time to wait for 2 new figures. does the mix up mean we will get 4b and 4c together or closer together. Also will there be a wave 4d or wave 5 for series 8. the teller would be nice. Our BBC shop is closing in Brighton so they said they wont be getting any more. even bigger shame. i will just have to get online. Looking again at this VALUE SET! I do like it the set looks amazing. i do feel a bit tricked about dalek sec though. we were told it was going to be rare. a lot of people spent a lot of money trying to get it when first released if they had known was coming out later would have been fairer. i will have to put money aside for this i didnt get bronze dalek originally so ill give 12 dr away and keep the rest

i think we should have had 2 further waves by now

like is said, these sets are not designed for people who have already bought into the range

I can really image what people would say if one figure variant was entirely exclusive to this set

    • shatner

      June 20th, 2015 - 3:56pm

will rusty and Clara be sold separately

    • booboo

      June 20th, 2015 - 3:58pm

yes they are both in a future waves (although rusty is std not moving but still the same figure)

  • 100000BC

    June 20th, 2015 - 3:30pm

Could they do a stripped back version with just the set and hovabout and black Dalek (maybe Clara too) because I already have bronze Daleks and the 12th Doctor and I’m not too keen on an electronic Dalek or a Rusty figure; for me it just makes the set a bit too expensive.

I suppose it would be a good starting point for collecting these if you bought this and the 12th Doctor’s TARDIS as then you would have a TARDIS, Doctor and Companion set with some Daleks and a set for them to move about in.

However it’s probably a no from me!

problem is when making such products they dont have the “collector” in mind

its basically an Argos value set for people who perhaps haven’t bought anything or not very much Doctor Who wise.

      A start as you say

    • 100000BC

      June 20th, 2015 - 5:54pm

Exactly; To be honest if I could get the Clara and Black Dalek both separately for a decent price then I wouldn’t be too fussed about getting the rest.

I could get the electronic black Dalek but I wouldn’t use the electronic feature.

I am one of the people who, although I understand the reasons behind the change, and am excited by the prospect of dioramas and sets and a slightly lower price and the fact that they’re [almost] in scale with the Merlin figures, would rather have stuck with 5″ to keep my collection the same size. This is just one of those things we’ll have to get used to.

I think I would want everything to be made from plastic and not cardboard for this price… although I’m sure I’ll pick one up as it looks like great fun and an updated Clara would be nice. I especially like that Rusty is electronic and another bronze dalek never hurts. Is the 12th Doctor the same as previously released?…

£49.99 Everything by itself would be £57 so it’s not too bad

    • koloth

      June 20th, 2015 - 6:16pm

      4 x £7 + £8 + £10 = £46.00. so just slightly overpriced

    • booboo

      June 20th, 2015 - 6:21pm

this looks a bigger playset with a bit more to it than the previous £10 ones

    • Nicholas

      June 20th, 2015 - 7:40pm

      4x 6.99 = 27.96 (4x Figures) + 9.99 (Electric Dalek) + at least 19.99 for a large playset = 57.94, so £58 really

    • Nicholas

      June 20th, 2015 - 7:46pm
