They should be cheaper, they’re all either inaccurate or repaints.

http://www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk don’t seem to have the 11th Doctor in the green coat…shame, because they have a cheaper postage fee than the .com site.

Very true…to be honest, the Amy brown coat variant is not from the show either.

maybe something because when they updated the regenerated 12th dr figure, they still used the old promo pic. so you never know…

Doesn’t look like he has the red lining which I expected him to have.

Will definitely be picking up 10 in Blue Suit and Skovox Blitzer. Will probably buy the Gold Dalek and Maybe 11 in Green Coat as even though it isnt screen accurate I still think its pretty nice 🙂

All they needed to do was switch the coat for the tweed jacketed one to have an accurate figure, but they’re too lazy to do that.

As much as I love the detail of the skovox it looks to small. Bas anyone noticed? And the bases are red. I thought that the bases were repainted to go with every wave! I love these figures (impart from 12 and 11 they look awful) when they first came out but now it`s annoying I bought all the 10ths so far and Amy`s but now K have decided to stop collecting 10 and Amy. I will buy 11 (I will mod him),Skovox and the Dalek but WE NEED MORE SCUPLTS!

Sorry, CO, but the Eleventh Doctor in his long, green coat is NOT an interesting figure because you didn’t bother to remove the vest!

I own this figure and I disagree with you. I know the vest wasn’t in series 6. But other then that it is amazing. I think this is the best 11th Doctor the 3.75inch wave has ever made!

The only differences are to the packaging – this one says ‘from Series 8’ rather than ‘articulated action figure’ and it has different figures pictured on the back. There are no differences on the actual figure.

“Highly detailed, realistic and poseable action figures”

I have to disagree with the description that for a Dr Who fan, I would say the 3.75 are not well detailed. Take the face for example, it isn’t well detailed even thought the clothes look alright. I am sorry, guys but I prefer 5inch figures.

Does anyone know there will be 5inch figure releases?

100% correct Joe. 3.75 inch figures are really bad compared to the far better range of 5 inch figures.

    • slitheen97

      December 2nd, 2014 - 3:31pm

Disagree, while there not perfect compared to the 5″ they are very detailed compared to other 3.75 figures

    • Trenzalore

      December 2nd, 2014 - 3:34pm

If you keep comparing them to 5″ like everyone does, of course they’re gonna look bad! They’re good for the people they are aimed at and good for the price which is all that matters for me. You can also see they are trying to improve with every wave, comparing wave 1 to these you can see a vast improvement.

How many variants came out for series 5? And how many repacks? 3 Peter, 3 Ironsides, 3 doctors from the dalek episode, the list goes on….

  • PandoricaOwner

    December 2nd, 2014 - 2:42pm

Apparently there’s either a Kandyman or Santa figure to be revealed soon don’t know if 5 inch or 3.75.

Has anyone tried yet to match this repaint of Amy Pond with an actual episode? Just wondering if it has some kind of basis, or if it’s just a made up repaint.

It’s a very bad interpretation of her God Complex outfit, where she actually had her jacket open, that’s why it’s hard to tell what the hell she’s wearing haha

  • Mike Robinson

    December 2nd, 2014 - 2:25pm

I agree with a lot of the posts I’m seeing on here. I have a shelf full of Matt Smith’s, Clara’s, Angels and other repaints/variants. I would much prefer variety. There’s plenty to cover in the new episodes and an endless supply of ideas reaching back into the classics. People are definitely going to lose interest if the line keeps going in this direction. I also agree with the comments about screen accuracy. I would not have bought this Matt Smith in the green coat if I had realized in the store how far off it was.

These figures are getting worse! 11th Dr in green coat is completely wrong. The fact that they’ve not even created a new sculpt and just painted his purple coat green is disgusting! Scovox was silver not gold and how many bleeding figures of 10th Dr & Amy do we need?
Still waiting for 12th Dr figure showing the red lining of his jacket as was originally advertised.

Not even removing Eleven’s waistcoat for the Series 6B variant is just plain lazy. It was bad enough in the advance images, but I would have thought they’d have done something about it between then and it’s December release.

While I’m glad that I could buy a 10th without the coat separately and a Skovox, I’m a bit dissapointed that there is nothing else new or unexpected.
I know-I know, first world problems, but if they really want people to accept and buy the 3.75″ line like crazy, they should give us something really cool (koff-kofff…Paternoster gang maybe…koff-koff) especially before Christmas.
But complaining aside, can’t wait for these to appear in the stores!

I have given up on this range. It seems to me that they are just releasing variant after variant. If the range is to do well they need to release new figures. Sontarans, Siulrains, Vastra, Stax and Jenny. Amy Pond left the show a few years ago and we are still getting figures of her. One’s enough.

I agree, I thought the whole point of this range was to make more new figures and more affordable.
At this rate the line will run out of steam.
Really the only new figure is Skovok. The Dalek is just a repaint.
Remember towards the end of the 5″ new series figures, re-releases after re-releases.
