April 16th, 2015 - 6:47pmMy Twelfth Doctor and Foretold arrived today (took FPI a whole WEEK to despatch them, but they were delivered a day later). I have to say, these two are also a vast improvement. I’ve seen lots of reviews of these figures criticising them, but in my opinion they are so much better than figures from previous waves-the detail is spot on for the scale. They even feel more sturdy in hand.
Keep these better 3.75″ figures coming Character 😆

April 4th, 2015 - 9:11amGot Skovox Blitzer and the Foretold from my local BBC Shop today, they’re both very good figures. Saw the Caretaker Doctor, which also looked very good, so I’m going to get that another time. I looked through all the cybermen and they all had bad paint apps to the eyes and mouth so I think I’m gonna wait until they get some better painted ones in.

I’ve heard a lot of bad things about the paint on the Cyberman figures. A lot of people who ordered them I think have to wait to get them

What sucks is that there is only a handful of stores that sell Doctor Who items and even then they don’t have a great supply of items. It can be a pain trying to collect everything you want.

the post is expensive but then you dont pay the vat like we do or any imports costs so its worth considering

cybermen… all the eyes were in wrong places the silver paint looks like they ran out because looks washed off. they are slightly taller but look exactly the same as 1st wave.when i look at the back its all faded not very silver at all.
fortold mummy. looked great until I opened it leg and hand fell apart as soon as I opened it. i put back together but falls off as soon as its touched. lovely looking but impossible to play with without losing bits..
doctor caretaker…looks great untili turn around it has a huge scratch down his leg which looks like brown paint splash. also cannot fit his speaker in his hand and if i did it wont reach his mouth. but apart from that looks great from the front.
i went through the whole lot looking for the best painted ones and was really hard to find good ones. is it just the bad ones get sold off first to bbc shop to get rid quick . am i just unlucky when every one keeps saying the quality is better i just havn’t been able to find the better ones

I love them warts and all. my friends take the micky out of my collection. I do wish i’d waited to see if I could find a better batch

March 30th, 2015 - 12:19pmThe paint jobs on The Caretaker figure are a lot better than previous Twelfth Doctor releases, so it looks more like Peter Capaldi. I think all that’s missing is the longer hair, but perhaps that’s something we will see further down the line? It looks like he’s rocking the longer hair in the upcoming series.

March 28th, 2015 - 3:57pmPicked up all four figures today. The Caretaker is great and compliments the Skovox Blitzer well. I couldn’t find the latter from the previous wave, so am grateful for a re-release. I would have preferred a colouring a bit more accurate, but it’s a minor quibble.
The Foretold and Cyberman are fantastic, definite highlights in the range. I think all four figures will sell well, but these two will fly especially quickly.

April 23rd, 2015 - 2:04pmThere was one foretold left in my branch of FP and I didnt like it…maybe the eaglemoss version may be better…I did however receive the Day of the Daleks supreme today which is excellent….. And I managed to get a reasonably nicely painted tenth planet cyberman too…I was shocked – my branch of FP had 5 copies. Smiths had sold their 1 paltry copy as soon as it was put out…..
