This TARDIS Play set is a reproduction of the console room of the new Eleventh Doctor’s time machine and varies from the original produced in 2010 as it comes with a Character Building compatible base and features a CB 11th Doctor in addition to the standard 5 inch Doctor figure.

I have this wooo. i ordered the normal one for 12 pound. they came with this so litterally i got the tardis free cos the figure would have been ten pound and the cb figure would have been 2 pound!

I personally, A. see the point in this because character building figures are not to scale with the tardis playset anyway and B. i dont like it because i think the floor looks silly with the character building floor

If I can find this I might asctually get it, since I was planning on getting a second playset to customise anyway (light etc). And I won’t knock back a ‘free’ action figure or two in the process!
I hope that CB floor is removable though.

Ohhh… *smacks head*. I just remembered, the CB stuff is made in POLAND… if this has been assembled by the Charcater Building branch from the Polish factory, it might make sense.
Still total speculation. What do you think?
Has anyone bought one of these yet? It will be interesting to see what info is printed under the box, etc.
I’d also like to see a better view of that new floor.

I emailed Character Options about this item and got the following reply:
“Thank you for your email.
We have no information relating to a 11th Doctor Tardis Playset that
includes 5″ Figures and Character Building Figures.
Many rumours spread around lots of various Dr Who forums, and the only
advice we can give is to await the official release details for accurate
information.
Hope this is of some assistance”

That’s the reply i got, Scificollector, a very well know and respected retailer (responsible for Torchwood and merlin figures) and they have it physically in stock in their shops and have done so since Tuesday. People are saying it hasn’t been “officially” announced – You cant get any more official than the thing actually being on sale in a shop.

No CO Haven’t confirmed it, they say they dont know about it but its on sale in a VERY reputable Scifi shop and it arrived with other CO goods on Tuesday.If it wasn’t real it wouldn’t be on here to be honest

This is ridiculous, if the Doctor got shrunk he wouldnt look that unrealistic, and the galss base is just CB. Waste of money, and I would get the original if you haven’t got tardis playset, 1 cheaper, 2 dosent have cb floor but plastic see through floor. It is way too big to be cb. I do not reccomend.

If your new to collecting and dont have a playset or figures or goo pod then it a good buy – its an introduction to things. if you already have it then obviously you wont be buying it.
