Character Building Compatible Base 5″ Tardis Set

This TARDIS Play set is a reproduction of the console room of the new Eleventh Doctor’s time machine and varies from the original produced in 2010 as it comes with a Character Building compatible base and features a CB 11th Doctor in addition to the standard 5 inch Doctor figure.

Its a cross promotion for people who haven’t bought any of this before, of course people aren’t going to be interested if they already have the stuff

      June 30th, 2011 - 6:43pm

why is it a rip off? its the same RRP as the old one but you get a 5″ figure, a CB figure and a CB floor panel, and with this one a goo pod, all extras which would cost £15+ separately so what exactly makes it a rip off? please explain yourself

    • booboo

      June 30th, 2011 - 7:53pm

so you get a £8 doctor figure, £2 CB figure £7 goo pod and a constriction base all worth well OVER £15 so why is this a rip off, explain this comment please

    • boo boos

      June 30th, 2011 - 8:00pm

So, you delete a comment you disagree with. This is the doctor who site; not DWT.net.

They clearly say “Compatible”; which its not really. Sure, they can stand but not in scale.

    • booboo

      June 30th, 2011 - 8:05pm

No I ask you to explain why you call it a rip off and i have yet to hear an explanation, a rip of is something that you buy and it isn’t what was shown on the box , a fake, or deliberately overpriced, this is none of these, its the same RRP as the old set and you get more so its not overpriced, you can clearly see what you are getting and it is not a fake so why is it a rip off? and no this is not DWT.net

As Booboo explained to me, this is just to introduce newer Doctor Who Fans to the wide range of Merchandise around, including the 5 inch figures as well as the new CB stuff. If you don’t want to get it, thats fine but you don’t need to call it a rip off or post any bad comments about it.

    • boo boos

      June 30th, 2011 - 8:07pm

I have; “Its NOT in scale”

    • booboo

      June 30th, 2011 - 8:12pm

where on the box does it say its to scale? it just says compatible which it is because you get a base to sand the CB figures on

This is ridiculous, if the Doctor got shrunk he wouldnt look that unrealistic, and the galss base is just CB. Waste of money, and I would get the original if you haven’t got tardis playset, 1 cheaper, 2 dosent have cb floor but plastic see through floor. It is way too big to be cb. I do not reccomend.

but the cb figures will look tiny on it cant you just use the proper cb tardis out in septenber also it is just the one that is already out with some lumps on the floor 🙄 👿

But I know theres a actual CB TARDIS set coming out (I don’t know when though sorry!) so this is a waste! Also if the glass floor id all ‘lego-y’ then how will the Doctor (actaul figure) be able to stand on it! Do u think it could be a con booboo?

Good point booboo if it’s on here with your knowledge of good and bad Who Toys then it should be okay! But I first thought it was somin like those Cyberman cars and walkie talkies that were ‘made’ ages ago! I reckon its so the website can get more customers!

      June 30th, 2011 - 2:40pm

If your new to collecting and dont have a playset or figures or goo pod then it a good buy – its an introduction to things. if you already have it then obviously you wont be buying it.

commenter’s seem to forget that this could be someone’s first Doctor Who merchandise purchase

I totally understand! 🙂 but all I was saying is that if I was goin to buy my first Doctor Who toy it wouldn’t be this because it does not make any sense having such a small Doctor in such abig TARDIS! But I do see your point booboo! 🙂
