It’s a large figurine, it comes by itself.

      mmmm
      not sure about that idea

    • Grand Moff Moffat

      December 21st, 2014 - 12:44pm

Yeah, it is a bit odd now that I think of it.

    • The Werewolf

      December 21st, 2014 - 1:08pm

It’s made out of a squishy material though. Maybe they plan on doing with it what they did with the Adipose.

      December 21st, 2014 - 1:46pm

To be specific it’s “Foamy Fun”

    • The Werewolf

      December 21st, 2014 - 2:42pm

But it’s also “fruity” apparently, unless there’s something else too.

The caretaker device thing on the figure looks very detailed. Looking forward to twelfth doctor figure variants and his own tardis with correct windows and interior card. Who hoo!

Probably gonna get all of these when they come out.
Is the memory worm by itself or does it come with someone?
And also has a release date been set?

The Skovox Blitzer looks like it may come in one of the diorama sets… Maybe a coal hill school or caretaker’s cupbooard…

I don’t think so because if you look closer; the legs, the head and arms are articulated.

      November 8th, 2014 - 1:15pm

And figures that come with Diorama playsets can’t move anything but good idea of a Playset.

The Dalek Varients are a great idea (except new version in old paint scheme???) but, Amy is already a peg-warmer, why do a varient?

I will have Dalek Armies and I like the action figure Skovox Blitzer a lot better than show version as well.

interesting, it would be great see some figures on the pegs where are live let alone peg warming, Amy 1 has been and gone in many stores so a new variant is a welcome change to “the same old thing” in the next batch.

  • The Thirteenth Doctor

Is that a classic styled K9? The screen on his side is coloured differently and so is the collar.

Yes stated on his twitter that they are doing a classic variant, and that is the one in the picture.

  • Doctor RevWho

    October 1st, 2014 - 10:56pm

As much as I didn’t really like the Skovox Blitzer in the episode itself, the figure does look extremely good. I might consider getting one when they are released.

Didn’t it have 6 legs in the show? The one in the pic has only got 4!

    • The Twelfth Doctor

      October 2nd, 2014 - 12:02am

No, it had 4 legs in the show.

Somebody asked the man in question at character options if these will be in wave 3b or wave 3c and he said “no a’s b’s or c’s … Its all wave 3 then a shipment No .. We are currently on wave 5”

I think it might be some time before we see any of this new stuff.

yes they are effectively “running changes” to the same wave although it would be nice to see all of this in time for Xmas

    • Exterminator

      October 1st, 2014 - 12:11pm

We were told that wave 3b would be out later in the year when wave 3 was first announced, so fingers crossed for some new stuff before Christmas.

I think I’ll be buying all of these! They look brilliant and I love the packaging. I think the NSDs looks better than the classic Daleks. The slats on the classic Daleks are too long above the gunbox and the eyestalk fitting is receded like some of the “goon” Daleks. I do like them though 😀

    • StetsonDoctor

      September 30th, 2014 - 9:59pm

Well yeah, I don’t exactly agree with it, but some of it can be interesting. Yesterday, I saw he mentioned the following figures would be in the next wave (or something):
      *Green coat Doctor
      *Amy Pond (Brown Coat)
      *Dalek with Scoop
      *Skovox Blitzer
      *Gold Dalek
      *Zygon MKII

  • Harry Walker

    September 30th, 2014 - 6:48pm

      Where?

  • Big D

    September 30th, 2014 - 2:16pm

Well I’m still waiting for more Classic Who 5″ figures. Or have these now stopped? Or are they just exclusive to Forbidden Planet in the UK now?

    • booboo

      September 30th, 2014 - 3:14pm

they have been (initially) exclusive to FP for some time now, i think there will be more but few and far between

  • Oracle

    September 30th, 2014 - 1:16pm

I kind of think the dalek variants are getting a bit much, same with the amy variants. I would have thought they would make variants when they aren’t doing that well, but by the detail on some of the new figures I wouldn’t see why they are struggling. I know maybe they dont sell as good as the 5inch but in time they will. 🙂

    • booboo

      September 30th, 2014 - 1:23pm

they are doing very well but are now very widely spread, Daleks always sell regardless, expect tons more, some of these sets are also exclusives

they are smaller safer waves with running changes with different variants

In the past if shops got 3 deliveries they might have all with the Amy’s now you will get 3 different ones, looks better on the shelves and less chance of peg warmers

also remember the vast majority of the figures are purchased buy casual “toy” buyers not collectors

    • Oracle

      September 30th, 2014 - 1:31pm

Good point. Yes it looks better on shelves but sadly in shops around me all I can find on shelves are Amy’s and Daleks.

also, where are these toy fares held? I want to go to one some day. I finally managed to go to a sci fi convention and I loved it. This has to be as good

    • The Werewolf

      September 30th, 2014 - 12:59am

A Zygon in drag? What kind of figure is that?

    • MadManWithABox

      September 30th, 2014 - 3:15am

Firstly, by ‘Zygon in drag’ he means the one with the revised paint apps. These people are calling it that is because it looks like it’s wearing eyeliner,

Secondly, this didn’t come from a toy fair, these are just images a CO employee, took of the upcoming merchandise before uploading them to Twitter as a ‘teaser’ of sorts.

    • Dalekparadigm2

      September 30th, 2014 - 7:39am

Well, when i say drag i pretty much mean it’s wearing a lot of eye liner (or that’s what it looks like)

      September 30th, 2014 - 12:34pm

      I just see a replay of the Mickey/Rose scenario….

      excuse me while I stifle a yawn….

    • Dalek The Supreme

      September 30th, 2014 - 3:52pm

I’m a bit mixed on the whole relationship part of the episode. While it was superbly executed (IMO, one of the few things this episode did right), I don’t watch Doctor Who for relationship drama.

  • Dalekparadigm2

    September 29th, 2014 - 9:27pm

    Two questions

    1. Is this 12th Doctor’s TARDIS?
    2. What is that ‘The Tenth Doctor’ Item behind everything else in pic 5?

I do apologise it’s Skovox Blitzer (K in stead of C) I do hate in when I’m wrong in public. Just try and forget it. 😉

  • RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
