I wonder if they’ll release anymore 5 inch figures for the classic range again. Looking at my collection My 5th, 6th & 7th Doctor haven’t really got that many other monsters or villains from their eras except for a load of Daleks. I would love to see a 5 inch Rani figure or a 5 inch Vervoid figure.

I do love that the 2005 era Daleks in these pics have custom “classic” paintjobs. 🙂

I just wish that they were in the 5″ range. 🙁

I’m in love with those Daleks!!!
    And Capaldi!!!
Not fussed by Amy, but yeah!

I do know, for those wondering, that there are 3 Dalek two packs, released as UT/Toys R Us exclusives
    sets are:
    Children of The Revolution
    Dalek Invasion Of Earth
    Evil of The Daleks

      P.S
The ‘Invasion’ set contains the 2005 Daleks in 60’s livery, with enlarged bases (as seen in the bottom pic)

      £14.99 at a guess

    • 2doctors2000

      August 29th, 2014 - 9:15pm

But that’s more than hat an individual figures cost. £10 would be a bargain, I reckon not though. Maybe £12 to £13?

    • booboo

      August 29th, 2014 - 9:19pm

technically they should be £12.99 – but it depends on if they are a toys r us exclusive which at the moment i am assuming

      lower quantities higher price

the Doctor Dalek sets were more than most people thought they might be

i just dont know its just a guess

  • Matthew

    August 29th, 2014 - 4:36pm

I’m guessing the White Jacket Amy is from The Doctor’s Wife, and the Brown Jacket one is from The God Complex? She had a different hairstyle for those two episodes so they could just do what they did with Clara and fix the hair a bit by the time of production?? These look good, but 3 Amy Pond figures is a little… excessive!

not as running changes, gives people a choice and puts different figures on the shelves rather than the same one which happened all often with the 5″ line

      3.75″

after the variable 1st and 2nd waves they seem to be finding their feet with this scale

    • 2doctors2000

      August 29th, 2014 - 4:40pm

I think so too. I hated them at first, and still dissapointed because all of the old figures won’t work with eachother 🙁 But a good sign if people are not sure if a figure is 3.75 or 5 inch, it means it looks good!

  • ThePixelatedDalek

    August 29th, 2014 - 4:18pm

Some fantastic stuff here – can’t wait to buy it all 😛
The Dalek sets look brilliant, they’ll sell fast if they make them.

this is a “safe” toy line now with only key figures that will sell

    • booboo

      August 29th, 2014 - 3:47pm

      because they sell

    • Anonymous

      August 29th, 2014 - 4:04pm

they need to give other figures a chance

    • Button

      August 29th, 2014 - 7:15pm

That is the problem, they may give us a few figures from series 8 but you will find that each wave will have an existing enemy in it. The reason why the 5inches failed was because they made a wave comprised of figures that no one wanted, or had a clue on who they were, like Uncle, Francesco, ect they know that Daleks and Cybermen will sell so they will play it safe.

Though I would like to see the Robot from Sherwood get a figure.

    • Dominic Kane

      August 29th, 2014 - 10:09pm

but I think they need to stop with the endless daleks and do companions and new monsters

    • booboo

      August 29th, 2014 - 10:15pm

Endless Daleks? They have only just started

you will get new monsters but they cant show you them yet but you are only going to get key characters now, no risks.

no big waves of numerous different figures like the 5″ those days are gone.

3.75 dalek collector set #2: the dalek invasion of earth set
3.75 dalek collector set #3: the evil of the daleks set (?)

3.75 Amy pond pond from lets kill hitler
3.75 Amy pond from the girl who waited
3.75 dalek of the daleks gold dalek
3.75 classic 1960’s dalek holding mutant
    3.75 2005 dalek with 1960 color scheme (probably mock-up)

I find it funny how you get plenty of variants in the 3.75″ line, such as Amy in different clothes, where as in 5″ you hardly got that. But I do prefer variants, it’s nice to have a variety.
