June 22nd, 2016 - 7:26pmI’m still wondering if they’re bringing Clara back. They haven’t given any info on the so-called new comics companion, and Clara keeps showing up on the variant covers. I don’t think she’s gone yet. The Cybermen miniseries is a sequel to Hell Bent apparently if the synopsis is correct, so Titan is not afraid of jumping ahead of the TV show. Maybe we’re in for a return by Clara well ahead of whatever they plan to do on TV.
Yes, I’m aware the covers don’t always reflect the contents. But if they wanted a clean break from Clara, and introduce a new companion to join Alice and Gabby, both of whom were promoted for months before they debuted, and regularly appear on the covers … why keep invoking her?
