Thankfully I didn’t order from Australia or the USA. One website wanted $40 shipping to the uk for one figure.

I already have a set of six as well as a special weapons Dalek, all of which have been around for some time. Also, how does the new Genesis of the Daleks one differ from the exisitng Planet of the Daleks one, and the Dead Planet one differ from the Power of the Daleks one respectively: they look identical. Thanks!

January 9th, 2014 - 1:36pmthere were only 4 in the second wave, the special weapons Dalek which has been available for some time and these 3 which were announced months ago but have only just reached the UK (they have been available in the US and AUS for some time)
Power Dalek has neck slats, Genesis Dalek has silver mesh

December 16th, 2013 - 6:43pmI finally got the special weapons fx dalek today from forbidden planet international. It says on the backing card that the swd does not speak only makes gun noise and explosion sound. There was even a letter inside the parcel stating I could have a refund if I was unhappy that the swd does not speak.
However, if you switch the swd off by the switch underneath, then press down the push to make sounds button and keep it pressed down whilst you switch the dalek back to on, after about 5 seconds you will hear a beep which unlocks all the speaking

August 10th, 2013 - 11:07pmWhat happened to all the daleks that were going to be in this range, I really wanted the Dalek Supreme from PotD, I know they released it before (non-talking, Dalek collectors set 1) but you can never get hold of one and when they are for sale, they’re like a million pounds (slight exaguration but you get my point) and there’s only 4 in this set, there was 6 in the last, but so far I’ve only bought one as only one really grabbed me, the Death to the Daleks Dalek, and it’s great, only I wish there were more talking Daleks available.

also, I am SO hoping Character will bring out the movie Daleks as well WITH
SFX, as Product Enterprise did some time ago: As Character have already done the Dalek Invasion TV models, it can’t be difficult for them to do the movie versions as well..?
