Its the same images over and over again. They’re good but up until a certain point. Time to use new ones I say

It was nice having this idea for the 50th. But it seems ever since we get the same thing!
Would be nice to have episode based calendars! So 2018 could be series 10 episodes!
Getting bored of the same thing on my wall now

sadly will never happen, these have to be designed and go to print way before any episodes have aired

Didn’t they used to do them based on episodes back in the David Tennant years?

yes but way after the episodes aired

a 2018 calendar would only be able to have episodes from series 9 for example

The BBC could easily give them away early? These aren’t even released till after series 10 so none of the images would get leaked

but they have to be designed and approved long before the series ends (or even started for that matter), they probably already gone to print as well

The BBC are not going to send out pics of un-aired episodes for products like this that far in advance

this not a bit pre-emptive? particularly given there’s a new doctor on the horizon and 2018 will be his/her year?

I get tired of seeing the only picture of Troughton always being used is him playing his recorder.

The War Doctor didn’t save Gallifrey not to be included on this 2018 calendar

The War Doctor did help save Gallifrey… Sick of him being left out of things, especially with John Hurt’s passing.

It is annoying he gets left out.

He shouldn’t be left out but where to put him? What happens when we get the 13th Doctor?

Last year had the War Doctor on one of those special event she pages instead of a month, so he was there.

The Troughton picture is always him playing his flute! For crying out loud, can we have a different Troughton picture please!
