And every character has its own Doctor Who display base and collectors leaflet highlighting all the characters available in Series 3.

then find one of the boxes in a store and feel the packs the ones that have a big bit in it you can feel it
you will be feeling the skirt of the dalek so that’s how you know it’s a dalek
there are 5 daleks in a box so you can army biuld.

I suppose it gives them something to do, sometimes they open them and if you don’t want that figure they will just have a display of open ones and you can choose which you want!

November 25th, 2012 - 11:31amThat poll for how you collect figures dosent have a ‘feel the packets and never get doubles’ answer. Its so easy to tell these apart. The only doubles i have ever got from cb accidently are NT Amy, when looking for the police amy. And when i mixed up amy with restac.

November 25th, 2012 - 4:31pmIn the past when I have had the time I too have spent time successfully feeling packets. Buy a Dalek and its red, go back, but another Dalek and luckily it its blue) However there are drawbacks:-
a) fewer shops are selling them these days
b) having the time to do it
c) most importantly of all is that such activity does attract the attention of store detectives…
…for this reason or because of theft or likelihood of theft one supermarket even put each packet into a plastic container only unlockable at the till.

I got put off ordering from Character when i ordered the series 6 white shirt 11th Doctor and they sent me the 11th Dr with beard figure.

November 24th, 2012 - 6:49pmProbably will be difficult to pick up from stores. Wilkinsons (near me) no longer sells anything Doctor Who. John Lewis’s near me are still trying to lose series 1 and 2 figures. Asda only has one Who item (Cleric Wars) and Sainsburys has nothing, the same with Tesco. FP did not have the S3 figures today.
It is becoming quite a challenge getting things…
