When the Stars Screamed A Dalek Anthology Charity Book

They don’t hate you. They don’t fear you. They simply don’t believe you have the right to exist.

When the Stars Screamed is a bold, chilling reimagining of the Daleks at their most terrifying. Set against the backdrop of shattered galaxies and smouldering timelines, this powerful anthology peels back the layers of one of science fiction’s most iconic villains—revealing the cold logic, fanaticism, and genocidal horror that fuels their endless war.

Featuring gripping new stories by Chris McAuley, John Peel, Seb Short, and Terry Molloy, and brought to life through the visceral, haunting interior illustrations of Charles Waples, and cover artwork by Terraqueous Distributors editor Mark Worgan, this collection delivers a fresh, unflinching perspective on the true nature of the Daleks and their creator, Davros.

Crafted with insight and authenticity by writers and performers who’ve helped shape the Daleks across decades of Doctor Who storytelling, ‘When the Stars Screamed’ is essential reading for fans who want to rediscover why these monsters remain the most feared in the galaxy.

But this book is more than just dark fiction. It’s a force for good.

@Amypondfan, you don’t pay for the book until you send proof of $5 donation. Terraqueous are reputable and will send you a link to buy it from lulu. They created this book to raise money for the charity and this way helps make sure all of the donation goes where it should

Alan: Reminds me of an advert that was placed headed “Alcohol Free Socials – For people who don’t drink alcohol.” Several people turned up expecting free booze – they hadn’t even made it to the end of the first sentence! (True story.)

This is a brilliant idea for a great cause (and who doesn’t love Daleks) but I have to say I think this will put people off, especially older people who struggle online and those who simply cba with the steps!!
It would have been much easier just to have publish on demand or publish the book and the profits to MS.
I don’t mean to whatsit on anyone’s chips, just my thoughts and I hope plenty sell.

My sister has MS, its a horrible disease.

I’m not saying this to persuade you in anyway to purchase the book – we dont benefit from any sales.
But Lulu ship worldwide for a low cost, as they have printers and distribution here in the UK, and in the US , and other locations across the globe.

Not going to get the book. Rather buy it direct than wait for links and let some of the money I paid go to the charity. Been stung by links for other things before.

I completely understand where your coming from, the author lives in the US, and chose yhe charity.

However I know for a fact that the author would be delighted if you donated to a British MS charity.
It really doesn’t matter, what is important is that we’re doing.some.good.for a good cause.

Please choose an MS charity of your choice, and then forward the email confirmation to the email address mentioned above.
      And that will count.

      $5 is currently £3.75.

Say your bank does you dirty and charges you a £1.25 currency conversion charge.

      You’ve donated £5.

I have MS. It’s a terrible and ravaging incurable disease.

I’m in the states. I’ll be paying big time for overseas shipping, and a currency conversion cost on top of that. As well as donating to the charity.

We don’t have an NHS. The uninsured market price of my annual medication is $318,172.20, more than £239,000.00.

I wish my problem was the conversion cost of a £3.75 donation to charity.

Exchange rate fees are usually about 3%, so 15 cents.
