December 28th, 2025 - 3:04pmAfter an updated version of the Sea Devils on BBC Four, so we have now had 3 cut down versions of the first three doctors stories. So it’s now got me thinking a 4th Doctor’s updated story planed for next year? Maybe Genesis Of The Daleks, then another spin-off a prequel about Davros before and how he became to be the creator of the creatures of the Daleks. as he was supposed to have been human once. A human scientist an experiment went wrong or something then ended up in a machine support system to keep him alive then just went mad.
Just an idea but sounded good though I thought.
Ano miss
December 28th, 2025 - 6:52pmDavros was crippled in a thal attack. Its mentioned in genesis

December 5th, 2025 - 8:59pmAn omnibus edition of The Sea Devils is on BBC Four before The War Between The Land And The Sea. And this could be out at end of December only 5 episodes with double this week. Could be 3 & 4 next than the finale the week after. Then they might have this released the next day. Hope so in time for Christmas.

December 6th, 2025 - 12:06amIt won’t be. If it was coming out December 22 it would have been announced already. As it stands no disc features or cover have been anounced It will be post new year.

September 10th, 2025 - 2:47pmIf it is January the 1st then it will be run as part of the Christmas promotion so it won’t be long until we find out. Though a date is unlikely to be set.
I do expect it will start during the holiday period whether thats say 27th or 28th or the following Friday or Saturday, I expect it will be weekly.

September 12th, 2025 - 11:27amI think Jane Tranter straight up told it’s going to be in 2026, but I also expect it to be early on. I am pretty sure the proper trailer or any solid info will come on 23 November.

September 6th, 2025 - 4:37amWe may be waiting a while. The release date is in 2099! 😉

September 5th, 2025 - 9:04pmIf they have redesigned the classic sea devils just for the sake of it it will be doomed to failure. Disney’s involvement has been a perfect illustration of money not making up for quality of storyline or integrity in remaining true to the ethos of the series ( not to mention some of the most laughably bad cgi…). “The war between the land and the sea” is a last chance, I hope it isn’t wasted.

September 7th, 2025 - 1:02pm“If”? Have you seen the trailer?

September 4th, 2025 - 10:05amI hope this means the show will be out very early 2026.

September 4th, 2025 - 10:22amWouldn’t be too much of a surprise if it’s 1st January

September 4th, 2025 - 11:24amI think it was meant for October but the lack of series 3 probably made them think ‘we’ll push it back a few months, i’d be surprised if it isn’t January, maybe the the 3rd which is the first Saturday of 2026

September 4th, 2025 - 11:52amfor 5 episodes it will be either over a week Monday – Friday or late at night like class was

September 4th, 2025 - 9:34pmI see there was a statement from Jane Tranter.
According to the Royal Television Society’s Television Magazine, Tranter insists that Disney has always had the right to walk away after 26 episodes have aired. Then, and only then, does Disney+ have to make a decision about whether or not they want to do more.”
So moving BTWATS to Jan 1st (latest rumour) keeps the door open for negotiation, stops Disney showing it and Gives the BBC breathing space and New who Content for 2026.
I do wonder if this press release was meant for when it was Due October.
So looking forward to this though.

September 5th, 2025 - 9:37amIt will air in place of Who
