February 16th, 2013 - 6:23pmIn Timelord 22’s list I wonder what they mean by classic cybermen ? Tomb version ? Wheel In Space ? Or all of the Troughton versions ? If that’s the case it seems a shame that the revenge and silver nemesis variants aren’t included. Will they be including the Tomb Cybercontroller ? How about the 6ths Doctor version too ??
timelord22
February 16th, 2013 - 11:26pmThere’s a picture of a Tomb Cyberman, so that’s definitely one they’re considering.
Mjanus
February 16th, 2013 - 6:04pmWonder if there’s any chance of ’em following this up with a ‘who vehicles set’ – akin to the Batmobile series theyre doing. I was always disappointed no space craft from the ‘classic series’ were released after the rather detailed new series set which included the slitheen ship.
Could include space craft and cars and maybe even a set of console replicas…..

February 16th, 2013 - 5:49pmI’ve just resent the pictures booboo, hopefully it will work 🙂

February 16th, 2013 - 3:25pmThere is a questionnaire included, and it appears that they are considering doing companions. One question is ‘Pick five characters from the list below you would like to collect as figurines’, and two of the options are Rose and Captain Jack. (Ood and Vashta Nerada are also included!) and another question is ‘If we were to add 10 figurines to the collection which of the below would you rather have: More monsters OR selected companions?’
They are considering it…

February 16th, 2013 - 5:42pmthis is good. It does say collection characters so one would think/hope they do some if not all the comanions.

February 16th, 2013 - 5:59pmRather a poor selection of 1st and 2nd Doctor aliens… No Yeti ?? And I thought a tractator for the Davison era….Sil and the Borad for the 6th Doctor ??
And its a shame everyone keeps clear of the Kandyman one of the more innovative creation of the mccoy era….

February 16th, 2013 - 11:13pmThese will only be some of them, perhaps the first lot with more to be announced at a later date if they get the number of issues increased for instance, or one of the other figures encounters problems.

February 16th, 2013 - 3:10pmStrange…
I don’t know if i will be able to get any others, although i do want that chase/movie dalek. (there were full movie dalek’s in the episode, however they had suckers, not claws!)
booboo
February 16th, 2013 - 3:13pmI thought they had the bases removed and ears changed or were there others?
Tardisnt
February 16th, 2013 - 3:15pmthere were others, in the attack scenes; not just in the ship
timelord22
February 16th, 2013 - 3:01pmFor those of you wondering what the 7 Daleks are for the premium subscription, there is a list in the magazine:
1. Dalek Sec (Daleks in Manhattan)
2. Mad Throne Room Guard (Asylum of the Daleks)
3. Black Dalek (The Daleks’ Masterplan)
4. Imperial Guard Dalek (The Parting of the Ways)
5. Dalek (The Chase)
6. Oswin Dalek in Chains (Asylum of the Daleks)
7. Saucer Commander (The Dalek Invasion of Earth)

February 16th, 2013 - 2:50pmI got this from my newsagent today and I live in Wiltshire. I had worries about the likeness based on the pictures I’d seen for the 11th Doctor, but in hand I must say it is pretty good. The figure is brilliantly detailed and painted very well- impressive for something done by hand. The quality is very good; up there with Eaglemoss’ DC Chess Collection. The magazine is also fantastic; very detailed! The collection as a whole looks good, and while I didn’t think I would, I am going to subscribe when the proper collection comes out.

February 16th, 2013 - 2:54pmWiltshire as well now

February 16th, 2013 - 11:21amDoes any one know what that Gold and Black New series Dalek is from with the alternate arm?
I know we saw different arm guns on the Imperial Guardian Dalek’s in ‘Parting of the Ways’ but i don’t think they had black bodies.
booboo
February 16th, 2013 - 11:30amdont think one ever appeared on screen like that, interesting they age a full movie Dalek in there as well
Judooning
February 16th, 2013 - 11:38amYeah, they must have got a Licence for it because i know CO don’t have a licence for them.
Looks like that ‘Evil’ Dalek guard is from Asylum of the Daleks because it seems to have cobwebs coming from it’s sucker arm and looks dusty on it’s head dome.

February 16th, 2013 - 8:52amSo Booboo, is the best time to subscribe to this magazine when it is officialy released nation wide? I’ve never subscribed to a magazine before and i really want these.
booboo
February 16th, 2013 - 9:01ami dont see any harm in doing it now, you just might have gap at some stage and all those free items may take a while to arrive

February 16th, 2013 - 9:11amOh, so even though it’s only currently available in shops in a certain test area, people from all over the UK can still subscribe and recieve it?

February 16th, 2013 - 8:11amDoes anyone know when these would be out officially?
booboo
February 16th, 2013 - 8:28amSeptember – January
They do a test area to gauge demand to see how many to produce when it goes national, tey have done this withh alll part works
Disadvantage if you subscribe now is that when they get so far they effectively start again with the full releases and you have to wait sometimes months to catch up
They sometimes also change the order of things, with Monster Invasion there was new ultimate card and the test release one is now worth a fortune
I LOVE DOCTOR WHO
February 16th, 2013 - 8:37ammy figurines are coming in 3 weeks
Mjanus
February 16th, 2013 - 1:06amDoctors and aliens only please… don’t bog the set down with a lot of companions which look nothing like. And to be fair Id say classic one issue, new series the next. Maybe some of the aliens no one has bothered with – like the Menoptera, Zarbi, Monoids, Krotons Dominators and Quarks etc. I suspect this series may run and run and reckon Im going to be knocking on a bit before it’s end. The rate its going Im going to be aging before the first issue is in my area.
dave
February 16th, 2013 - 11:05amnobody bothered with them because they were awful aliens
Mjanus
February 16th, 2013 - 5:56pmIn your opinion…..
I love em …take em over new series stuff any time.
ImSoNotARobot
February 15th, 2013 - 9:48pmI would subscribe, but only if the figures were painted to a better standard, but since this is the test issues, I would hope that changes were made, hence why they test them, and sort out paint applications and detail, as Davrsmlooks like he could be on a toothpaste advert or something, and the 11th Doctor looks a bit shoddy, but the other figures look superb. So I’m going to wait and see and judge when they come out for national release as I could see this doing really well if they add in more Classic figures and worked on the painting!
cjayp33
February 15th, 2013 - 8:47pmIf you subscribe how long will it take to arrive?
booboo
February 15th, 2013 - 8:48pmup to 21 days, but you might get parts 1 and 2 together, that’s how its usually done
cjayp33
February 15th, 2013 - 8:58pmThanks if takes that long might try and get issue 1 in shops.

February 15th, 2013 - 8:31pmI like most of them, except the Davros one. His teeth and mouth just seem a bit…off

February 15th, 2013 - 8:22pmBooBoo when you say ‘National Launch is successful September 2013 – January 2014’ does it come national in UK and US then coz it says by the mag about the price?
DrAmyRoryRiverBANG
February 15th, 2013 - 8:23pmand i thought it would coem soon inthe UK and US
cjayp33
February 15th, 2013 - 8:33pmIt means that it will be released nationally in the UK either September 2013 or January 2014
booboo
February 15th, 2013 - 8:34pmno info about US, Eaglemoss have said nothing official about this series yet as is often the case with test issues, they will wait until its full launch before embarking on a promotional campaign with all the info
DrAmyRoryRiverBANG
February 16th, 2013 - 10:40amok. do they do companions too?

February 16th, 2013 - 11:02pmJust be aware though that the premium subscription Daleks are sent “in 8 different shipments over the lifetime of the collection”, so to get all 7 and the base you’ll most likely have to stick with it for the entire collection. I’m guessing the final Dalek will probably come with the very last issue.
