We at Robert Harrop Designs have been creating collectable hand painted figurines for over 30 years and have gained a well earned reputation of high quality and accuracy of detail. Our extensive portfolio includes Thunderbirds, Camberwick Green, Beano Dandy and 2000AD to name but a few. A portfolio that is extremely nostalgic and very British, so it was no surprise that Doctor Who would be the next project that we wanted to embrace into our studios!
In partnership with the BBC, we have meticulously hand sculpted a range of 1:12 scale, hand cast and hand painted Doctor Who figurines, each made to strict Worldwide Limited Editions.
As a mark of provenance, each Limited Edition figurine will be numbered with a unique Edition Number and will come packaged in a presentation box with an Information Card and Certificate of Authenticity!

October 7th, 2021 - 1:45amI reckon the master first or second to tie in with the 50th anniversary of delgados first appearance. The carnival auton i,m guessing last and will no doubt be one of the quickest to sell out since omega.

November 8th, 2021 - 12:19pmA couple of weeks ago, Dan from from Harrops announced the Master would be released first, then the Troll doll, then lastly The Auton. He’s even put up provisional release dates.

If the rest of the Doctors they make are up to this standard I’ll be more than happy.
Looking forward to the Master now and hopefully some companions in the future.

September 18th, 2021 - 11:45amI leaning towards normal price Zygon. I remember people on about this same issue on social media with K9, saying because of his size he’ll probably be quite cheap But then later Harrops announced he would be the usual price because of all the work involved.
Mind you K9 came in two pieces that had to be joined plus they made his ears and tail separate from Pewter.
The Troll Doll looks like one piece with no added pewter so it might be abit cheaper. ( Fingers crossed).

I notice those last dozen or so of the doctors always take time to shift once all the advanced orders are in. That wont be the case with the next batch. We await with eager anticipation now. Keep checking but its still bill.

September 8th, 2021 - 5:08pmThis is going to sound mean. But it’s been annoying me why the figure looked half familiar. The first Doctor – yes, but something else as well.
Doctor Who meets (classic) Planet of the Apes.
No discredit to Harrops, theres a hell of a lot of work in the piece. It’s just the photos don’t usually do the actual figures any justice when you see them for real.
The face and that hairstyle unfortunately give an otherworldly not quite human look to the figure.
I’ve ordered mine last Friday anyway. I’m certain it will look better when it arrives. Much closer to Hartnell than Cornelius

September 7th, 2021 - 12:07pmHi guys. Considering Roger Delgado’s in nearly every story from Season 8, im 99% certain he’s going to be one of Harrops three new figurines.
The 1% of doubt I have is because of the problems they usually have with human likeness and all the Hassel they receive. (would they intentionally put themselves through that again).
What do you guys think?

September 6th, 2021 - 10:24amI,d like to think it could be various figurines from any of the stories from series 8 and not just singled to one story. I mean they could do Azal at standard size but would look disproportionate to the other releases. They could do the master in either guise. I think a lot of fans would Love the Daffodil Auton or Bok but i,d like to see something from colony. Either a High priest or Uxaerian warrior would be something different sean.

September 6th, 2021 - 11:10amHello Sean, my memories a little hazy because it was quite awhile ago now but I’m sure Dan mentioned the three figurines weren’t from The Daemons.
We were having a conversation on here awhile ago when Booboo mentioned he couldn’t see it being from the Autons, because of having two or three similar Auton variants so close together. Then their was this Daemons anouncement from Dan. So that just leaves Colony from Space.
So ergon might get his wish.

Was wondering if Harrops was waiting for the 1st Doctor to sell out, then they could announce the Monochrome version which I’m expecting next. Then the big announcement could be after that.
(I hope not though).

However iam really dying to know the three figures from one story, but it would look a little odd not having a monochrome first doctor from a whole collection view. What do you think?

Harrop released other monochrome editions of the first two Doctors’ eras, so I’m hoping they do so with this one as well.

He’s wearing the same blue tie with the cream/beige waistcoat and monocle. I know the trousers are more redder on the CO version but Al already mentioned that was his fault the trousers where the wrong colour because the colour photos he had used for comparison shots had bled due to old age?

On the photo though I can’t see if he has the white spats on over his shoes without checking out the actual episodes.

The last few Creatures sold on their site had usually sold out by now.
The Doctors have a history of being slower sellers though.
