A complete fiasco of an event – got kids up at 5.45am to get ready & travel in from Largs, and was just 5 away from front of queue when told we couldn’t go in, after two hours queuing – and that was just for a wristband. People had travelled from Newcastle and Liverpool, and spoke to one family who had travelled overnight from Belfast. I was so livid I went to the local paper, the Herald, and they ran a story on it today at http://tinyurl.com/372vva2 – incompetence from a toy store hat is supposed to have the interests of children at heart.

Well what a mess this event was this morning only 250 wristbands available to be given out to the fans waiting from 07:15am , we arrived at 09:30am to find a queue as long as an execution, we were advised by Hamleys that there maybe not enough wristbands to be given out as the wonderful BBC had moved the goalposts and did not expect more than 400 people waiting for these, we were advised by the store that they were giving a family of four (2 Adults and 2 kids) one wristband per family, this way there might be more wristbands to go round.
