The Twelfth Doctor likeness looks better. A new sculpt?

I doubt it…having said that the spacesuit Twelve’s head sculpt does look significantly different to the Caretaker figure’s which looks like the current one, so maybe you’re right πŸ˜•

Might try and get some of Wave 4 if they’re that good, plus I love Series 8. I can’t help but imagine these in 5″ though. D:

I’m so glad they cancelled the memory worm. For me it just wasn’t right. It wouldn’t work with the figures cause it’s to big… I guess it could eat them.. Lol!!
Anyway, I think CO made the right choice in canceling this figure…. Maybe now they will put out Missy and Danny even faster. I can’t wait for those figures

The memory worm wasn’t meant to be a figure, it was a completely unrelated piece of merchandise, it was squishy. it’s closer to a plush toy than a figure. Though, I wouldn’t have bout one either, unless it was a stress toy.

      January 13th, 2015 - 11:26pm

I know, but from what I heard it was going to be released with the batch of figures. It was going to be like the “Prisoner Zero” figure just squishy.

    • The Werewolf

      January 13th, 2015 - 11:55pm

No, it wasn’t going to be like Prisoner Zero, it was not in any way a figure, it was a squishy toy.

You know who on Twitter has hinted that the memory worm has been scrapped due to the foam deteriorating too quickly and not looking good value!

      what bendy dalek ???

    • Anonymous

      January 13th, 2015 - 9:33pm

bavk in the 1960s a lot of toys were made of foam rubber. inside was a metal frame that you could bend into shape. wouldn’t pass health & safety now of course. they made a bendy dalek but the foam rubber perished. last one i saw on ebay was about Β£250 despite the detiriation. last one i had was the wolf from the roadrunner cartoon which sadly fell apart in the 70s

Oh my god. They look brilliant! I am looking forward to get back into collecting these. I know some have been released but I am grateful for what mum has already bought me. As quite frankly I know Christmas is just a four days away but I just am satisfied for what I have gotten off of mum. Maybe go back into getting the three or four from the other wave. Like Gold Dalek. Tenth doc blue suit – no coat – for my friend as the 5inch one tha thas glasses sadly died. After it fell off her shelf in her room next to the martha and Jana I given her and the Tardis ceramic money box. An 12inch Cyberman. Yes she does like the cybermen alot. Weird. And loves Ten. Sadly the Rose tyler from new earth with series 1 hair sculpt I given her got chewed by her lovely border collie. Great. But anyway. the blue suited tenth doc from series 3 died. Foot came off and glasses. Ouch and she was so livid. So must make it up to her. Buy her the two when I next get money. She has gotten a spare Tardis gown off of me and mum so now we have the same dressing gown. Its brilliant. So comfy. But anywho I will just pick up what I can. Mum has treated me enough. Dad is giving me hundred pound in hand for Christmas but I will get some new clothes. Maybe if I have any money left. I might call in and get what I can. Love collecting though. The Caretaker doc is fantastic. Love the new figures. Just get what I can, If it wasn’t for your wonderful site I would be missing out on the amazing new memorabilia for the future.

if they make a spacesuit doctor, can we at least have a 11th and 10th head as they also wore it!When will they make the tardis playset for eleven and ten!And what about the teller, missy danny in any form and i want a toy of the dream crabs (monsters from this christmasd ep)they look very eerie!

    • Grand Moff Moffat

      December 20th, 2014 - 5:10pm

The figures you mentioned should be wave 5.
Well except for 10th + 11th if any we’re most likely to get them.

    • Grand Moff Moffat

      December 20th, 2014 - 5:12pm

10th + 11th are most likely to be released.
Hope we get The Dream Crabs, Missy, and The Teller.
Don’t want Danny because he is the WORST charactor ever ( worse then Mel even).

    • The Werewolf

      December 21st, 2014 - 12:44am

The Cybermen have partially black handles, like some of the Cybermen did this year.

Interesting. Any news about the Clara figure?

  • Jaffa Cakes

    December 20th, 2014 - 2:38pm

The Foretold is a cracking looking figure, I’m sure it’ll fly off the shelves. The Twelfth Doctor in his Caretaker attire will be good fun, I’m sure, especially with the release of the Skovox Blitzer. I hope Character will be sensible and not overpack the variant, though.

The large Memory Worm figurine is interesting. I’m wondering if there’s a Time Zone playset due based on Time Heist? Perhaps the Worm is part of that and we will see a carded release of The Teller, or vice versa? Both don’t need any articulation, so fit into the Time Zone category. I think The Teller would probably be more appealing carded than the Worm.
