Got this figure today (along with White Robot), which now means I have 5 figurines without a plinth. Getting a little peed-off with Eaglemoss who continue to take my money, but aren’t supplying the goods. All I get from their Customer Service (when yo can actually get through) is “you’re on the list to be sent one”, but this has been over 2 months now. And the head honcho never answers any tweets on Twitter! Is anyone else waiting for a plinth – or is it just me? Anyone got any other answer from Eaglemoss?

      I have 15 without a plinth now-the last one I had was with 100/101!

Not really good enough is it though. Keep taking our money, but not supplying the goods. About time Eaglemoss fessed-up and explained why the delay and what is being done. It’s things like this that put me off subscribing to any other collections, such as the new consoles collections.

Assume this is described as a classic Silurian as it’s from the Classic series rather then because it’s like the original. I do like this sculpt and will probably pick it up if I can catch it. Makes you realise that in 1970 they provided them with a full costume complete with feet.. and 14 years later they barely had enough time to complete the costume to cover the actors shoes. Hence the chunky feet. Wish they would do the Sea Devils from Warriors as well. They look good even if they hobbled about in the story.

There will probably be more votes NOT to do a Myrka !

Like many others, this is my favourite Silurian design. It’s just a shame they were completely undermined in their story.

As a figurine, this looks like one of the best they’ve produced. Right up there with Dalek Can

We’ve already had a classic Silurian from the 1970 series. That is the version I would regard as classic. The 1984 version however is poor in comparison. The Silurians are the one monster in Doctor Who that has looked worse the further in that the series has evolved. The original Silurian in ‘Doctor Who and the Silurians’ is the best. Not only that, it’s their best story by far.

Must admit, even i prefer the original Silurian as well, especially over the new design

they could bring back the old silurians from the pertwee era alongside the swishy tongued masked versions from the hungry earth/cold blood. miss that red control/death ray. That was a mistake they forgot to include. The silurians Outfits from Warriors were fine ( if they could have tucked them in and you couldn,t see those splits in the trousers. The sea devil Samurai outfits were just plain daft. But Why they had the red control ray on the silurians head as part of their speech pattern was just wrong.

The best Sontaran design is still the original, Linx as he was seen in ‘The Time Warrior’. Which for me again, is not only the best Sontaran, but also the best Sontaran story by far.

Its those blue outfits. They always looked more menacing in black, sontarans.

Yes. There is an image of the figurine on Eaglemoss’ main website.
