Doctor Who: The Visitation Audio CD

Doctor Who: The Visitation Audio CD

Arriving on the outskirts of London in 1666, the Doctor, Tegan, Adric and Nyssa receive a decidedly unfriendly welcome.

It soon becomes clear that the sinister activities of other alien visitors have made the villagers extremely suspicious of outsiders.

And as a result of the alien Terileptils’ evil schemes, the Doctor finds himself on the point of playing a key role in a gruesome historical event…

An unabridged reading of the Target Books novelisation first published in 1982.

Released on 04 October 2012.

I assume you’ve seen the Daily Mirror? 😉

No, they appear to have misunderstood him when he said he wasn’t going to do it forever. They thought that meant he was leaving. 🙂

I have bought all of them more or less at time of release and the cheapest has been £7.19 based on a rrp of £12.99. Until recently the RRP was £17.99 which is a lot when the paperback books would only be £4.99 or less today. At the time they varied from 30p to £1.99ish.

Yes if you wait you can get them for £5.96. But all the new ones sat in my Amazon basket are £11.39 or more.

I`m not sure where the Expensive series comes into this as most of them are £5-£7 on release and only the Highlanders and the Visitation seem to be staying above the £10 mark although the BBC shop Have Highlanders for £9.25 at the moment.

Love this cover and much better than the awful mess that was Androids of Tara and Castrovalva and Logopolis for that matter

I understand the need for these as they had photographic covers but I do wish they would use one that has been on a book cover like the Target/Virgin reprint of the Visitation.

It is nice to see different covers being used to the original novels. Much as I love those covers, this expensive range does need something else too, and at least we have had that with The Stones of Blood and The Androids of Tara new covers and revised/new stories etc.
