At the local hospital, Dr Grace Holloway fights – and fails – to save his life.

Later, in the morgue, the Doctor wakes up a new man. But he is not the only one – the Master has also found himself a new body. As the clock counts down to the start of the new millennium, can the Doctor stop his oldest enemy destroying all life on Earth?

    Have dreamed of this for years. Had hoped this was the year we might see it in True HD, but this… never thought it would actually happen!

    Good jesus, the excitement!!
    Money never left my account as quick. Not a steelbook lover myself but no doubt in this case. The simple 4k restoration is enough for another copy to own, but that artwork is top class, alongsidenew bonus material. Will defend this movie to the day I die, can’t see the criticism myself and McGann is brilliant.
    To quote;
    “He’s back (in 4k), and it’s about time”

      I suspect most of the new stuff is: Sylvester McCoy and Janet Fielding featurette.
      3 New Featurettes with Daphne Ashbrook, Eric Roberts and Yee Jee Tso. The more I suspect will be things like night of the doctor, tomorrows times, stripped for action, who Peter part 2 and the 8th doctor revisited. There doesn’t seem to be a sign of collection staples like behind the sofa and in conversation which to me suggests they are probably saving those. They may also include that 90s the collectors episode they teased on the 80s episode on season 25. Would be nice if they could include McGann shada to make this set as complete it can be

      I figure this means that a possible Wilderness Years Collection set is at least a couple years away as they would want this stand alone release to have that 18 month window to gets sells first.

    The art looks pretty good. Love that they found the original 35mm Film Elements. Since it was edited on videotape I wonder if it will get some nice new looking updated effects.
