My opinion on this item (The price is how much I got it got new and sealed):

Series 10 Part 2 DVD – £14.99 – 8/10: To my surprise, I got this! Very nice shine-in-the-light slipcase, great art cards and nice box set all together!

Bought this in a WHSmiths, opened it and there were no art cards! Went back to see if I could get one WITH art cards, and when the ones behind the desk were opened, none of them had art cards either. Seems to be a big packaging issue to me.

I’m still holding out that they’ll release the UK one after Christmas WITH Twice Upon a Time included…probably not since this is perfect for the Christmas shopping market….sigh

@James A: This has been mentioned several times before. I also wish that the Christmas Special for 2017 is on the Box Set. The BBC usually like to release the Christmas Special as a stand-alone DVD then later add it to the Box Set. They get a better return for the cost of the show’s expenses by releasing it in 2 parts, then the Christmas Special, then the Full Box Set. I hope that they follow previous release’s by a separate Christmas Special release after the show airs in December, with the Full Box Set release late Jan/early Feb 2018 with both Christmas Specials 2016/2017 on it. It would make sense for the 12th. Doctor’s finale to be all in one package (Otherwise I will be emailing the BBC & complaining bitterly) then allow a complete new start up for the 13th. Doctor’s run.

      Agreed.

A similar thing happened back in 2013 when they tried releasing the Complete S7 in the UK without The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe. Many fans e-mailed BBC Worldwide to complain until it was included, the rest is history. Hoping the same to happen for the S10 boxset too.

US Amazon has the cover and details for the Complete boxset now – same style as Series 9 (Series promo pic, nothing new) and due for November release….

Doesn’t mean the UK release wont be delayed until TUAT airs (still hoping on that front)

In the style of the new steelbooks they’re releasing for Series 1+

It would appear no extra features on these discs yet the Xmas special did have which is strange really !

Love how this one is £10 more than Part One for literally no reason.

But when put together, both parts will cost around £40…

Honestly, it’s easier and cheaper to wait for it to be released on Amazon Video.

Im going to wait until the full boxset is out. Its cheaper, got all the episodes on in one set not two seperate ones and has more extras. This is no downside! If you want to watch the episodes before the full series 10 boxset is released, they will be on iplayer!
