Still haven’t received my subscriber issue yet. Looks like I’ll be waiting two and a half weeks again, like I did last month.

Arrived safely on day of release which was nice although I did receive an update on the next issue with an apology regarding the previous issue delay.

I should point out that the offer code for the Tenth Doctor Adventures Volume 2 cd boxset on the back of the magazine works for the CD version only and NOT the download.

Just to let the download fans know…

It’s terrible to think subscribers have not even received last issue yet. This issue is a bit pointless for a lot of people. Cannot really blame Royal Mail after 28 days

How is it pointless? If they are subscribing then they want this issue.

I feel we’ve already done the Christmas repeats article before as well as the Go Goos one, they both feel like already written pieces for DWM, I know its going to happen after all these years but I swear we had one on the Christmas omnibuses in 2017?

And we had articles on David Whitaker’s Dalek stories in 2018,…I know times are tough but it is annoying to see so many reused articles

Thats exactly how I felt last mont, I swear I’ve read the story of the Dalekmania toys about three different times in recent memory, i just find it hard to believe we cant be deep diving into other doctor who content, we have a gigantic expanded media, there’s new books and audios out every month and it’d be great to get more 2005-onwards content, even with the merchandise we barley scratched the surface :/

And also it very much annoyed me how, despite being wildly popular and featuring on the cover, the 5″ range was neglected to one small box out about the David Tennant variants.

Whats this Back on TV: Christmas with the Doctor? As well as the new special are they at last showing reruns of the classic series on BBC ONE? Not that I would watch them as I own every story on DVD and download where I can, but it would be great for younger fans to see the classic series and even though they will be repeats would be quality TV.

Daniel – I’m guessing here until I get my copy – but they usually put ‘Back on TV’ on the cover when there’s new episodes about to air so I reckon that flash will just be referencing the NYD special (and the coverage about it inside the mag). ‘Christmas with the Doctor’? Not sure – if I had to guess from the specific episodes the thumbnail photos have been picked from, perhaps a feature looking back at other broadcasts of DW that happened over the Christmas and New Year period?

Yes, here you go – from the Panini blurb I think:
Christmas with the Doctor – a fresh look at stories that were broadcast during the festive period between 1963 and 1989.

They tried showing classic repeats and nobody watched.

Anonymous – you have any evidence to back that up?

The number of people watching on other channels would seem to disaghree with you, otherwise Britbox wouldn’t be showing it. If I recall the repeats on BBC2 had healthy figures.

    My mag arrived this morning.

Although i don’t pin up posters there is a fantastic one of Captain Jack and the TARDIS with the magazine.

Looks another strong issue content wise at first glance.
