August 24th, 2020 - 3:27pmMy subscription copy is late again. I read my friend’s copy at the weekend but refuse to buy a normal copy from WHSmith again. During the initial lockdown, the postmen were everywhere and were amazing. Now, they are an endangered species in Leamington Spa. As I am working from home, I am aware of the sudden lack of deliveries. There hasn’t been a Royal Mail delivery in my road since Wednesday. Hopefully, I will get a chance to read it from cover to cover soon as there were some good articles in there.

August 25th, 2020 - 9:05pmWell, it has arrived today in mint condition and so I am happy now.

August 20th, 2020 - 12:40pmIs anyone else’s.copy of this ripped? Just had mine delivered and pages 47-49 have massive rips not visible from outside. 1/3 of page 49 is completely ripped by still in situ
Deano
August 20th, 2020 - 1:43pmHi
Yes just checked after seeing your post and mine has rips within the pages you mentioned and 49 has 3 in looks like a manufacturing issue but it doesn’t effect the magazine in general from handling and reading as it’s in the middle and away mostly from any text.
But if the problem has been identified since it may cause a delay in the shop issues for a few days ?.
It is something I’ve occasionally noticed at times with Dr Who Magazine.

August 21st, 2020 - 4:23pmBeen in touch with Panini. It was a production fault and they are sending a replacement. I normally wouldn’t fuss but a whole chunk of page is torn off!!!!

August 19th, 2020 - 8:03amI’ve still been able to got my magazine issues from WH Smith’s throughout this pandemic but from the next town as their branch was still opening as I had to go over there anyway but I think that branch was open due to being on the high street and not inside a shopping centre

August 18th, 2020 - 7:08pmI see Doctor Who Magazine are using the classic Doctors on the front cover these days and not the latest Doctor. Is that because when Jodie is on the cover sales fall off?
Anonymous
August 19th, 2020 - 7:54amRidiculous
Gordon
August 19th, 2020 - 10:32pmThey just had a Jodie era cover on the last issue. None of the articles in this issue are related to the Jodie era so there is no point to have anything of her era on the cover. It’s simple as that

August 23rd, 2020 - 3:13pmJodie hater posts are very boring…

August 18th, 2020 - 11:57amLet’s hope this 1 come’s in as there is still now news about Issue 554.
JRT!
August 18th, 2020 - 6:52pmYou didn’t buy it at WHS the day it came out? Or do you subscribe? I picked up issue 554,and latest Infinity, the day after they came out,Friday July 25th,as I was leaving London. Great mags both.

August 18th, 2020 - 11:18amLovely cover…looking forward to the text free edition. Intrigued by the ‘unseen’ Tom Baker story…always interesting to read about what might have been although thanks to Big Finish we can generally hear it now.

August 18th, 2020 - 10:24amStill no news on the next blu Ray season release. Like the headline The brink of disaster, says it all really.
Gareth Pugh
August 18th, 2020 - 10:43amI’m not sure why you think that? The Collection Blu Ray range may have some delays but Chris Roberts has assured people on Gallifrey Base forum that it most definitely is carrying on. And let’s face it, the audience for those are mostly us die-hard fans – we’re not exactly likely to lose interest or drift away if there’s a long gap LOL

August 18th, 2020 - 11:48amIn 1979 Doctor Who popular Saturday night show . Ten years later it disappeared off the screens totally humiliated and unloved but for a few fans. For years we had put the lie that Doctor Who was minority interest programme until Russell T Davies brought it back to the main stream .

August 18th, 2020 - 11:53amSorry Anonymous I don’t know why my reply has gone out under your name.

August 18th, 2020 - 2:23pmWe’re in the age of mega viruses, mega recessions, mega explosions and mega Big Finish schedules but the delay in announcing a bluray set is a disaster apparently.
Anonymous
August 18th, 2020 - 3:34pmYeeeeah no multiple people on the team have confirmed that it’s still going and they’re working on the next couple sets. I imagine it’s been the whole, y’know, world wide pandemic delaying things.
Anonymous
August 18th, 2020 - 7:19pmIts just a bluray boxset. Get some perspective. Things are being delayed. Documentary interviews have very probably been on hold for months. Just be patient.
Gareth Pugh
August 18th, 2020 - 9:24pmLOL Chris Chapman not Chris Roberts – my (half asleep) bad.
Gordon
August 19th, 2020 - 10:35pmNone of the previous box sets have been revealed by a doctor who magazine Cover so I don’t understand why they would start now.
I want the next set as much as everyone else but it will happen when it happens
