Often think it featured so prominently in the Paul McGann tv movie because it’s a large number 8.

Created by Lord Rassilon? I didn’t know that. It also first appeared in Revenge of the Cybermen – but we all know that. *Wink*.

Or is it the seal of Voga?

It is the seal of Rassilon

      However!
Alongside some recurring actors during the strikes.
Items, props and costumes were reused amid continuing disruption and budget considerations.

This did feature in Revenge of the Cybermen as the Vogan symbol only to reappear in the Deadly Assassin.

*It was not pure chance that led to us getting the invasion of time later down the line.

Costumes were also reused in The Arc of Infinity and The Trial of a Time Lord (although last I looked wiki did not reference that appearence of the chancellery guards on station zenobia).

Apologies if that question was supposed to be for a bit of humour – peeps get a bit of trivia in any case 🙂

Yes it was all just for Humour lol.

Thanks for the triva I like it and good for people who don’t know.
As a kid watching it on VHS in the early 90’s I was very confused as to why it was there knowing it was a Time Lord symbol until years later when i read a bit more about it somewhere.
Now it’s just amusing to see it there on Voga.
