October 29th, 2014 - 9:05amJust got 152 and sadly it really IS the last issue, the inside cover that usually tells us what’s coming next is a farewell message from the Doctor Who Files Team. Must be honest it’s a pretty shoddy way of finishing off when there are such a large number yet to be released, and with the website offering 153 and 154 too. Sad

I have been emailing the publishers and they kept saying 152 was the end but I thought that could change.

November 14th, 2014 - 10:28pm152 is Black Orchid. I’m gutted, I’m missing 2 issues where my subscription stopped for no reason and started back up again a few weeks later and might never get them. But on the other hand, the material in the magazines have been wearing a bit thin lately on the content side. Although it’s nice it ended on the 12th Doctor

October 24th, 2014 - 10:23amPersonally I think it’s incredibly irritating of them if they have ended it where they have left it. I wonder if BBC Worldwide told them to leave several box sets partially completed to get people to buy the whole thing.

Also, recent payment taken out for only one issue/5.99 as well.
Sent them a query asking if the series would be continuing but no response yet. Previously, whenever they extended the series they sent out an email advising of new payment/delivery schedules, but no word this time.
Strangely, the’ve updated the starting number on their subscription page. It gives you the choice of begining your subscription with issue 150,151,152,153 or 154.

Mine does, and I keep noticing little errors and inconsistencies, and I was just wondering if it was the same for everyone.

Also, the subscription page has updated to 154 (a one issue extension would seem odd, but we have to assume the worst until we get a formal figure).

October 5th, 2014 - 3:03pmThey won’t be able to even cover Capaldi until they get their rights updated, which would be rather foolish to do in the middle of a series, otherwise they’d only have some of the episodes.
And no, it isn’t subscription only, it is just that most shops stop stocking it after a few issues, the ones that remain only do so because somebody has especially asked them to do so.

October 6th, 2014 - 2:20pmThey stopped updating the main site before issue 60 (including their “coming soon” list), subscription page is still maintained and the back pages list gets an occasional update.
No confirmed issue numbers and no list either, they took to just updating the Wikipedia page but that was deleted on the grounds of advertising. Really your best bet for up to date news is the comments here.

That’s what causes all these problems, the people who could give an answer won’t talk to us.
