February 20th, 2026 - 10:28pmThanks to Shaun’s tip now managed to get this from Sainsbury’s and was only charged £7.99! Appears the code for the monthly mag has been attached to this in error.
Shaun
February 19th, 2026 - 10:16pmI managed to get a copy from Sainsbury’s Bishop Auckland earlier today. There were five copies. Still not seen the Yearbook in supermarkets though.

February 17th, 2026 - 1:24pmPeter yes you can i think its better to order online from Panini say i think more of a chance maybe than in the shops wonder when and what years the next chronicle will be 1966 1970 or 74 or 81?
Bob Hellier
February 17th, 2026 - 2:56pmi mean 1969 not 70

February 17th, 2026 - 3:58pmMine came in the post from Panini yesterday with the corner badly damaged (you wouldn’t buy one on the shop in this condition). My 1970 copy from last year had similar issues and after getting hold of somebody in customer services (a challenge in itself) and providing photos they sent out a replacement copy. Hopefully when I finally get hold of somebody they will do the same this time. They are packed well so I can only assume that they have been damaged prior to packing.

February 19th, 2026 - 8:22pmI finally got hold of someone at Panini yesterday. They have sent out a replacement no questions asked and don’t want a return of the damaged one or to see photos of the problem (as they did last time). Reading between the lines I don’t think that I was the only person to receive a damaged copy…

February 16th, 2026 - 3:43pmNo sign of this where I am. Hopefully show up in a few weeks.
Peter
February 17th, 2026 - 7:52amCan you just order it online and have it delivered directly to you?
Timelord1963
February 17th, 2026 - 3:15pmI could but seeing as the cost of these have increased with postage on top you’re looking at nearly £20
daz
February 17th, 2026 - 3:38pmYou can get 10% off your first order so would be £14.65 with delivery if you can’t find one

February 14th, 2026 - 11:33amthe monitor i think it is better to order on line from any shop say the who shop i do you always get one delivered

February 12th, 2026 - 3:44pmGot mine today , great stuff.
The Monitor
February 13th, 2026 - 4:00pm30 mile round trip to Forbidden Planet and they don’t have it. Two TGJones don’t have it either which is slightly more excusable as their identical predecessor was always two weeks late for many years.
A fabulously large supermarket may have them, but 5 in my area that used to, do not any longer. It’s just as well it’s a bookazine and not a mag, to be around for a while and hopefully sell out.
The ergon
February 14th, 2026 - 12:45pmMine arrived yesterday. Its just easjer to order from panini.
Peter
February 15th, 2026 - 9:31amThe Monitor – if you have a 30 mile round trip to nearest FP and no guarantee of any nearby supermarkets having a copy… surely the most sensible and efficient thing to do would be to order a copy for home delivery from Panini Website?

February 5th, 2026 - 5:30amNot only a great year for Doctor Who but also for culture / pop music / movies in general. Everything was of high quality in 1984 it seemed.
War Chief.
February 5th, 2026 - 10:00amYou’re spot on about the 80s music….! Loved it all my life….
1984 was when Now That’s What I Call Music kicked off…..on cassette…..!
atl
February 5th, 2026 - 12:49pmi remember 1984 i was 9 at the time it seemed like every other day a celebrity died wasn’t someone who was going to appear in Frontios in 1984 was murdered or was that in 83 ?
Peter
February 5th, 2026 - 12:51pmI should hope so too – the year the world got me. 🙂 lol
I love these mags and delighted they are continuing.
War Chief
February 5th, 2026 - 1:19pmI don’t know about celebrity, ati, but sadly the actor who was going to play Mr Range in Frontios was murdered…..
Prof Horner
February 5th, 2026 - 2:15pmFrontios was recorded in 1983 . Peter Arne was murdered in his flat few weeks before the recording. I believe his murder was never solved .
Gordon
February 5th, 2026 - 9:09pmThe main suspect in his murder (Giuseppe Perusi) was found dead in the Thames 4 days later and the inquiry it was ruled an unlawful killing for Peter Arne and a suicide for Giuseppe Perusi
Prof Horner
February 5th, 2026 - 10:06pmThanks for that Gordon.

February 4th, 2026 - 5:15pmBrilliant! Bring on the specials! Love them!
War Chief.
February 4th, 2026 - 11:13amOne of my favourite Dr Who eras….particularly Frontios and Resurrection…..
And it was so cool Colin Baker was in the final story….rather than having to wait nearly a year for the New Doctor….
I was doing my O levels…..and reading 1984….!
Arthur J.P. Anderson
February 5th, 2026 - 7:04am1984- Season 21 – Peter Davisons’ Best Season IMHO.
Loved The Malus in The Awakening.
Hugely excited at Resurrection after a 5 year wait for The Daleks to return .
Resurrection looked great on screen and a fast moving story.
I was doing my O levels too. Doctor Who was popular at school.
Don’t know why they were called O ( Ordinary ) levels as GCSE ( 1988 replacement ) just sounds better !
Missyrules
February 5th, 2026 - 9:36amO for ordinary
A levels for advanced
War Chief.
February 5th, 2026 - 9:57amThe return of Davros (who seemed to pop into Dr Who every 5 years or so) was most exciting…..!!!

February 4th, 2026 - 10:26amA new special every other week now

February 4th, 2026 - 1:40pmIt’s not compulsory to buy them (if you don’t want to)?
bbb
February 4th, 2026 - 7:51pmit is like there are two magazine back to back
Barney
February 5th, 2026 - 7:34amI don’t feel like they are necessarily aimed at the same market unless your a fan that buys anything with who stamped on it. I couldn’t of given less of an interest in the 2025 year book if I tried, and gave up on the main magazine years ago but this chronicles range has been brilliant and a great companion to the various collection box sets. Some of the other specials interest me but most dpnt I just get the ones that do.
