Doctor Who 5.5″ Action Figure Missy UK Packaging Exclusive
These exclusive and limited edition action figures are highly detailed and features 18 points of articulation, interchangeable head (with hat) and iconic accessories including Missy’s umbrella and “Missy Device”.

Character Options has unveiled details of a brand new Limited Edition Doctor Who 5.5” scale action figure. Images of the Missy figure, first in a new range of scale Doctor Who Collector Series toys were revealed by Alasdair Dewar, Product Development Director, today via video on the Character Options’ website.
Missy, played by Michelle Gomez, is a villainous Time Lady who recently revealed herself as the Doctor’s arch enemy, the Master! Missy has been firmly established as a new fan favourite character, and as a collector’s figure, she is truly a must have.
The Missy Figure will be available in two variants; a purple outfitted version with hat from the series finale episodes; and alternatively in her ‘Heaven’ outfit, hatless with black jacket and manic grin.
The Missy figures each have 18 points of articulation and are highly detailed and decorated. Each figure head can also be swapped so that both heads can be incorporated with either outfit, and they both come with accessories.
The bespoke UK Collector Series packs are perfect for display and for the first time are re-sealable, so that the figures can be enjoyed in or out of packaging without losing their collectability.
Only 4,000 units of each of the two figures are available in exclusive UK packaging at www.character-online.co.uk for a price of £19.99 each (excluding P&P). Delivery will be made to customers by early November.
Al Dewar states: “Character Options has been designing, manufacturing and marketing Doctor Who toys since 2005, so as true fans of the brand we wanted to tell collectors the latest news in the most direct, if informal way, which is why I made the announcement in person on the website.

I was sure if I waited i’ll miss out. and had a niggling feeling all weeks thanks to character.. when I got my email to confirm they had a problem changing my address. Was originally gonna be the Collector Set 3, then a classic Asylum of the Daleks set, so they could do one based on TMA/TWF. It would probably have variants though instead of re-releases, like maybe Davros with eyes open and a Dead Planet Dalek with black dome (seen briefly in Missy’s last scene).

My guess is both will be around for a while yet, although if stock is becoming short Character could easily warn potential buyers I suppose when they are down to the last 500 say
If it gets featured on the official Facebook page, or Character decide to sell it on Amazon as well like many companies do that could cause another rush.
There will also be a slight surge when i actually arrives in stock as well

September 27th, 2015 - 1:33pmhopefully if the do a repaint it is 9.99 because it would be a bit of a rip off to be charged 14.99 for a slight repaint of a figure that was once 9.99 and then get us to pay postage as well, I mean I wouldn’t mind if they made a new headsculpt but for a repainted head I don’t think so, I understand why Clara is that price because it is still a relatively new figure but davros has been out for years

But they should all have a variant/exclusive figure which would be their selling point. For Example:
The 13 Doctors set (maybe with NOTD McGann, or an exclusive paint variant for all of the Doctors)
The Master set (as mentioned above, maybe with exclusive TV Movie Master)
Davros (From Genesis-Witch but with exclusive ‘Dying’ Davros, with swappable open eyes head)
Dalek (From The Daleks-Witch with maybe a Dalek from each Doctor)
Cybermen (From Tenth Planet-Death in Heaven, with DIH Cyberman, and swappable Danny Head)
Sontarans (From Time Warrior-Deep Breath, with Strax in Tux variant)
Enemies (with one key enemy per Doctor, room for an exclusive)
Companions (unlikely, but nice idea)
